With the raincoat on, you can hold the camera in your hand.
No, I doubt it. It'd be far too large. This thing is designed to work with a full-frame DSLR and a 300mm to 600mm lens. Get a water-resistant case made for a GO PRO or use a sandwich-size zip lock bag and a rubber band instead.

The rain has been light and steady throughout the day. My Canon T3i was safe and dry thanks to this cover. This isn't a waterproof cover, so keep that in mind. The rain would collect on it, and it would take a shake every now and then to get the rain off. That kept my camera and lens dry for the rest of the day. Due to closing the back opening, I had some issues with the camera neck strap. But it isn't a major issue. I was able to use all of the buttons and controls without having to stick my hands into the cover, which was very convenient! After a few tries, I was able to use the viewfinder with ease; the only issue was that the neck strap was in the way.
200 lens. This is a fantastic rain cover for your camera or lens. br>I shoot with a Nikon D850 and a Nikkor 80mm f/2. 8G lens. f/2 at 200mm Shooting wildlife and sporting events with an 8D camera. The camera body and lens are protected by the cover, which is long enough. I have other protective covers for my longer lenses, but this one is ideal for body/lens applications that are short to medium in length. I had to increase the size of the bottom hand opening because it was too small. I was able to trim the seam without jeopardizing its integrity in less than ten minutes. For the price, it's a great deal.
My wife wanted to use it on her Terra Trike because she is an amateur photographer and needed quick access to her camera. I climbed aboard the trike, but I was concerned about dust and rain. She's tried it out a couple of times and really enjoys it.
I like that there isn't a plastic screen to look through that could fog up and cause glare. In comparison to other covers I've seen, this one has a fantastic price. I clip the carrying pouch onto my camera bag and carry it with me wherever I go because you never know when a storm will strike.
On a 35-inch wide book, I used this cover. I used the mm Nikon FM to take some long exposure shots during the day to block out any extra light, and I believe it worked well. Because it hasn't rained yet, I haven't tested its ability to protect the camera from the elements, but it should suffice in terms of functionality.
Simply put, purchase it. I've been looking for something that can withstand rain for quite some time. This will come in handy on rainy days.
In Iceland, I used it a lot.
excelente.
