Color Temperature Orange Gels: CTO gel sheets are used to warm up daylight balanced sources such as strobes, leds, and flash lights. In whatever lights, each CTO gel will simulate a different strength of "warm sunset-quality."

This Color Correction Gels are made of a smooth and flat polyester film. It's not easy to fade, has a consistent color temperature, and has a low light loss.

Cut to fit: Large Gels filters can be cut or shaped to fit a variety of light sources. Film, theater, video, studio and outdoor photography, stage, holiday party, and DJ lighting are just a few examples of applications.

Is a semi-automated filter available? Is it more rigid, like cellophane, or is it more flexible, like cellophane?

I'd say "semi-" is a good word to use. rigid. It does not easily crinkle when rolled up.

I'm thinking about getting these cto gels for my led ceiling lights, but I'm curious if you can see the gels through frosted glass when the lights are turned off. ?

I just finished a similar project, but the gels aren't visible. Over the led panel, I used tape to secure them. It now has a lovely soft white glow to it.

These are unfit for consumption. Don't throw your money away. I tried warming the LeDs but they didn't help at all.
