Questions & Answers
It's difficult, if not impossible, to attach multiple filters to a drone's camera at the same time. You can use a neutral density filter or a polarizer, but not both at the same time. An NDx/pl is a combination of both filters in one frame, allowing you to use both at the same time. The number associated with the neutral density filter, by the way, denotes how much light is reduced entering the camera. An ND2 is the same as a one-star rating. Light is reduced by f/stops. ND4 equals two stops of light, ND8 equals three stops, ND16 equals four stops, and so on, up to ND256 equals eight stops of light. A polarizer reduces the amount of light reflected from water or glass surfaces.
Yes, it is compatible with the Mavic Air 2.
In video mode, you can zoom 4 times in 1080p and 2 times in 4k. However, no night vision is available. I ordered the Freewell Clear Night filter, which is fantastic for better night footage!
If you're shooting over water, make sure the indicator on the dial is in the up position. You can also look through the lens at a reflective surface, such as a windshield or water, and aim your camera at it. You've aimed the polarizer perfectly to eliminate any glare or reflection once you see the glare disappear.

I can't use any of the footage I shot with this lens. In any shot with detail, the edges suffer from blurriness, which is very visible. After checking some preview/review videos for this lens, I couldn't find the same issue, so I contacted Freewell, thinking I had a defective part, and they responded, ". This type of lens will have some softness to it. " Considering the MA2 camera's excellent clarity and sharpness, I'm not sure why anyone would accept this result. Attached to this review are two photographs, one taken with and one without the anamorphic lens. The right side in particular is a disaster.
This night filter is ideal for taking photos shortly after sunset or at night. Now, if you want to know the specifics of why I am unable to assist you, read on. All I know is that the lense's blue glass aids in the clarity of nighttime images. I'm not sure why the blue glass isn't shown in the product image, but it is blue, as you can see in my video.
I'm not convinced that using the UV-filter improves image quality. The case it comes in, which holds four filters and closes with a magnetic latch, is worth at least half the price of the IR filter. This is a nice addition.
Given what it is, and the fact that I work in video production, this really impressed me. There is some distortion towards the bottom of the image, but that is to be expected given that this is an anamorphic filter rather than a lens. The real value is in the price; anamorphic lenses are expensive as hell, and this is a steal. This is a budget-friendly monster.
Photography and videography of nature are two of my specialties. I love waterfalls, but it was too dark to photograph them well. It would be too dark if you could only reduce the shutter speed to 1/2 or 1 sec. I kept the filter, but I don't use it very often. br>br>I came across Polar Pro's variable ND filter (6-stop) and decided to give it a try. In these cases, 9 stops) is preferable.
If this had been a set, it would have come in a very nice, magnetically latching box with four filters. The filter appears to be well-built, and it perfectly fits my Mavic Air 2. A product of excellent quality.
This is an excellent way to generate new content without having to spend a lot of money. For some edits, having a wider field of view is very useful, and I'm glad to have it in my drone bag! If you go to YouTube and search for AtorPhotography, you should be able to find some sample footage shot with this lens. It's really cool!.
The seller delivered the item very quickly. The filter arrived in a nice case and fit my drone perfectly; the clarity of the lens is excellent, and it should be added to your collection. Freewell will always be free. I'm overjoyed, and I'm sure you'll be too.
