Questions & Answers
If you're referring to the Fotga DP3000 matte box, it will not work.
This is what I bought for my DP3000, and it works fine. It fights (tightly) around the donut holder's outer edge.

Our matte box would not have been complete without this addition. The provided rings do not work with any of our lenses or cameras, despite the fact that the matte box rig itself has performed admirably. br>br>To solve that problem, we purchased this cloth donut. However, for cinematic lenses, the elastic is too strong, and the back opening is too small. It even puts an excessive amount of strain on our smaller lenses. We would have preferred to see a more universal setup, such as a larger hole with a string to control the size of the opening and tie it in place.
It is designed to fit around the DP3000, but be aware: This is a tight situation in every way. I could barely get it around a lens with a front filter diameter of 72mm (I don't think it's physically possible to get it around anything wider). For more controllable tension, you could even cut the elastic with scissors and insert a small rope inside. br>br>If you're planning on switching lenses quickly, don't bother. I frequently have to attach it to the lens first, then wiggle it onto the matte box (which is nearly as difficult on your fingers).
Why? Was this made with a smaller matte box in mind? Stupid. Because the size of this boggles my mind, I may return it and purchase a more expensive Tilta version.
Don't waste your money by purchasing this.
