Adapters are required for this device. Although I was able to use an adapter, I was not able to zoom in to within a few inches Take pictures of your surroundings Having other cameras that take great pictures, I has a good idea of how the camera works. Whenever I take telephoto shots, I use the CoolPix B700, which has a great zoom. Occasionally, I use other cameras that are heavier, but not as good as my current one.
