I use the cap with my Nikon lens and it works well.
There is a lens cap here for the Nikon 18-55mm lens There is a Nikon zoom that is 55 mm wide and a Canon zoom lens that can be 52mm wide. I am not sure how wide the Canon zoom is, but I suspect it is the same. The specs of the Canon EFS can be found on the Canon website.
Generally, the cap keeper should be plugged into the hole of a lens cap. I do not think the lens is bad. It is also possible to use the adhesive pad on the cap keeper to attach the cap to your lens.

I'm so glad you posted this! With the lens cover on my Canon M50, I no longer have to worry about losing it! As opposed to the original lens, it adheres more securely to the lens with this one! Furthermore, it came with a second one, just in case I lose the first. I figured out from other reviews that the elastic band should be looped around the lens from the instructions, although no instructions are included.
As well as being very stiff, they are also very heavy. It was difficult for me to get it to fit on my camera easily. What I did keep was the strap that attaches to the lens cap, which I would have sent back. Straps are attached to caps with adhesive pieces, which allow the elastic belt around the lens to wrap around it. My original Canon lens cap fits smoothly with this, so I won't lose it if I drop it.
They fit very well, at least as well as the originals. We have only used it for a few weeks, so we can't speak to its durability yet, but it seems durable enough to last. The results will come in due time.
I received two for the price of one, and the best part is that they include straps, so that I will never lose a lens cover There may be a bit of difficulty in locking the lens cover in place, but it is possible. There is only one case for this brand, and you may lose it again. You may get two cases for this brand, but you get only one from Sony. The cover always stays on the camera when I have to remove it. In general, I am satisfied with the product I got for my Sony a6000 16-megapixel camera A 50mm lens.
Since the cap is expensive and I might lose it, I was concerned about replacing it. With one of the adhesive things and strap on the original cap, and the other one of the replacement cap, I fastened the cap onto the In addition to two holes on the cap, there are two little holes you can run the cord through. There's no need to use the adhesive component. The quality and value of the product are excellent.
I definitely avoid losing it when I use this! It's great when I'm on the go and need to quickly snap a picture without worrying about my hat falling off! Exactly what I was looking for! The fact that you get 2 for the price of one is also a plus! There is no doubt that you got an A+ there!.
In this case, the cap keepers hang from a hole where you can wrap them around and knot them together if you do not wish to use the adhesive end. My cap kept popping off because the adhesive part on the cap keepers lost grip and this is what led to my last cap falling off.
A replacement 46mm cap for my Z50 'kit' lens came after I lost the original cap. Though it appears to work, it appears to be very difficult to use at first. The reason for that is that I was using the 'inner' release grips, which are too narrow for the Generally, I don't have any problems as long as I remember to use the 'outer' release buttons.
