Yes, it is correct. It's what I'm using for my EF-style photography. S 18- 55mm 1: 6 IS ll
Because the diameter is 58mm, it's unlikely. It's most likely a 70mm or 72mm lens on your camera. Take a measurement of the diameter and that's all you'll need. If you're using a UV filter, for example, you'll need a lens cap with the same diameter in mm. I'm sure there's one for your lens out there.
Unknown. The cap was a perfect fit for my lens (EFS 18-55mm). Please accept my apologies for not being able to assist you further. 55mm)
Yes, a 58mm filter/lens cap will be used on the Canon PowerShot S5 IS.

These are far superior to the side pinch/grab lens caps in my opinion. These make a lot more sense from an ergonomic standpoint. This lens cap was purchased for my 50mm f1 lens. It's a perfect fit at number four. I only wish Canon would make these lens caps with the security string attached so I wouldn't have to worry about losing them. This is a great replacement cap; I can't say it's better than any of the generic caps I already own, and I'm not sure what made me choose this one over the others, but I'm happy with my purchase. I'm not sure what lens you'll be using this cap on, but it'll fit any 58mm threaded lens. The following are the lenses that are compatible with this cap: br>br>Compatibilitybr>- br> TS- 90mm f/2 E 8

55mm). There are certainly less expensive, generic lens caps available. But there are times when you want a perfect original quality replacement for something you've lost, and if you bought a T3i (or 4 or 5) with an 18-55mm lens, you've got that option. This is the 55mm lens kit. Exactly. br>br>The main advantage of this lens cap over other (and less expensive) Canon snap-on lens caps is that you pinch it in the middle rather than around the outside, which is simply easier and more secure. If you're not sure if this will work, try the following: br>br> The filter diameter of your lens, which is the inside diameter of the ring at the front of the lens, is what you'll need to know. On the 18th of November, 55mm f/3. The "58mm" on the T3i's 6 IS lens indicates that 58mm filters are compatible with this lens cap. If you bought a Canon camera with an 18-megapixel sensor, for example, Instead of 135mm, you'll see "67mm," indicating that a different lens cap is required.
This is a fantastic lens cap. I have a Canon Rebel T6 camera and was concerned that this cap would not fit my lens, but it did, and it fits perfectly, just like the one that came with it. It fits perfectly, this cap is well worth the money, and it arrived much sooner than expected. The lens cap in the second picture is identical to the one that came with the lens, while the cap on the right is identical to the one that came with my other lens, and there is no discernible difference. I'm going to order more of these lens caps because they're amazing!.
I had hoped to receive the item depicted in the description, but I was disappointed to receive a knockoff. It has raised lettering as opposed to the flush look (see photos for comparison). It's a great fit for my 18-year-old daughter. It does not fall off the 55mm lens. It's not bad for the price, but I'm disappointed it isn't a genuine Canon cap. It weighed about 2 grams less than my old Canon lens cap.
I prefer the center pinch to the outer edge pinch because it is more convenient for me because I usually keep my camera's lens hood on. Even when the hood is removed, I prefer the center pinch because it keeps my fingers away from the lens' (actually the lens filter's) surface, greatly reducing the chance of smudges. It could just be my imagination, but this one seems to hold together better than the original. Getting it here rather than from Canon saves a few dollars (yea), and because I am an Amazon Prime member, shipping was free without having to wait for Canon to run a free shipping promotion.
The original, which had vanished, was a perfect match. br>When using a hood, the pinch release is convenient. br>I'm on my second lens cap replacement. You'd think I'd figure out a way to keep them from falling out of my hands at some point. It's becoming increasingly costly. br>br>At first, I purchased a cheap generic lens cap, but it was so flimsy and poorly fitting that I was certain it would fall off on its own. So, for the Canon lens, it's back to Canon branded items.
Let me begin by saying that while at the Disneyland Halloween party, I misplaced the cap on my lens. This is a fantastic cap, much thicker than the one that came with my lens. It not only provides additional protection for my lens, but it also enhances its appearance. This is something I would recommend to anyone who has misplaced their cap or simply wants more lens protection. I'd also recommend getting some lens cap holders, which you can find on Amazon, so you don't lose it like I did while photographing your children. .
At a trade show, I misplaced my lens cap, and this was the perfect replacement.
