Questions & Answers

What are the compatibility options for the Canon 1d Mark ?

An upper arm flash bracket is attached to this bracket. An arm connected to the bottom of the camera attaches to the lower arm. The app does not "support" any cameras. As long as you use it the right way, no problem will occur.

Is it possible to use the external display with this?

If you have a sensor cord long enough to connect the bracket's flash to the mounted sensor at the side of the lens, then there is no reason why it can't be done. You shouldn't have a problem using a Vivitar 283, since it uses a 283 gun When I was younger, I had one attached to a self-contained vacuum system Attached the sensor mount to the modular lens hood from the Cokin M series, while mounting the flashunit to a bracket similar to the one from the

Would it be possible to fix it so it stands straight?

The length of a wooden dowel is based on its diameter, so your dowel should be about 5 inches long. Hold the bracket in a straight position, insert the wood dowel along the length of the bracket, and tape it with gaffer's tape or black electrical You might be able to hold it for quite a while.

Can you tell me how much padding there is in the base of this camera?

The bracket where the camera is mounted has a piece of rubber on it

I was surprised by how well it went
5/5

My initial impression was that this was going to feel really cheap, but it turned out much more durable than I expected. The mounting locations are great, it's very secure, and there are several options for mounting, even though I'll mostly use the same one, having options is always handy. This was perfect for my D800 and my Yongnuo wireless trigger on top, but I would have to remove my wireless trigger. So I will use this without my battery grip since I did not want the hotshoe, and I will stick to my wireless trigger.
I also found the cold shoe mount really sturdy when I put my Speedlite in. I don't think I would need to worry about it falling off since I secured it nicely to the cold shoe. The only thing I cannot see as an issue is the foam grip. It's super cheap, but I imagine it will rip and wear quickly after some good shooting. It won't matter though, since I'm confident that I can DIY a nice soft grip afterward regardless. The product was excellent, the price was reasonable and we are very happy with the product.

The design is poor, and the quality is poor
3/5

On the fourth or fifth time of using it, the rubber around the camera fell loose. I've used this bracket maybe a dozen times, but it became loose after the fourth or fifth time. The software has to be restuck every time I use it, and even then it will slide off when I am In addition, when I press the thing back in place, I get all the "glue" all over my hands. As well as You should mount the flash with the handle on the right side of the bracket in order to get the flash rotating above the camera. This causes the shutter button to be blocked. In order to flip the camera to portrait mode, I moved the handle so it is on the RIGHT, but then when I flip the camera to portrait, the bracket is on the RIGHT. Pictured are a few alternatives (see pic). I would not call that QuickDraw if I had to unscrew the nozzle a bit and flip it around during the shoot. As a whole I find it entirely unnecessary to purchase a device like this that is poorly designed and poorly made. I suggest you do not buy.

It is a good value for its price, but there is a little lightness to it This is the weight for big rigs
3/5

A flash bracket like this can be a cost-effective solution when you need one for what you need. On the handle, I feel that the padding is inadequate and would like to see a thicker and higher density foam used in its place. Also, I'm not a fan of the clamp type shoe bracket, and I'd rather have a standard slide For the sake of being fair, I am using a Canon 1DX and a Canon This is about 6 pounds of camera and glass with my lens. There's probably too much light in this bracket for this set-up. Whenever I carry the bracket at my side, I find that the camera is prone to rotating around the mount screw, and the top of the bracket is prone to swinging up. Due to this, I don't need to worry about these issues as I rarely use the bracket, and when I do, I use it for a short time. It is better to buy a sturdier rig if you are shooting a total of 24 hours (such as at a wedding). have no doubt that this will work just fine with a smaller setup An 8D with a 28-mm lens It has a 135 mm and 430 mm It is a very satisfactory bracket for the price.

There is one fatal flaw in it
3/5

In addition to this one, I bought another one that I had approximately five or six years ago. We needed to replace the old one. In terms of material, the construction on this one was solid, but it had a fatal flaw. At the bottom, the rubber that holds the camera in place has worn away. The glue wouldn't stay on every time, so I just had to glue it around the side There was a point when the rubber became difficult to find. After I discovered how useless the bracket was without it, I sought out a replacement. The camera could not be completely fastened to the unit by screwing it on. I have had a great deal of trouble with this particular fly, making the bracket nearly.

Everything seems to be working well
3/5

The handle is lightly padded (light foam) and works OK, but it could be padded more. This game has a rotating arm, which is the most annoying part. The screw holding it in place cannot be tightened enough to hold it in place, and there is no way to lock it in You can rotate it, but it just flips over. By changing out some washers or drilling a hole for a pin, I may be able to fix the problem. not one of the selling points for me, so I am prepared to permanently fix it in place if I have to.

Take advantage of the money you have
5/5

Despite its simplicity, this flash bracket is sturdy. As far as the job is concerned, it works. This allows you to place a speedlight directly above the lens, which can help reduce or eliminate red-eye. To take advantage of the eye effect, you will need a cable or remote trigger. The cord barely fit between the camera hot shoe and the bottom of the bracket when I used this with an off-camera shoe cord. (coiled cable) The system does work, though. I switched from portrait mode to landscape mode and repositioned the speedlight with no problem.

Good item for the price
5/5

I worked for a photography company when I was a professional photographer- The camera wasn't the one that rotated on its rotating bracket, but the speedlight was. My price range does not include that particular item (for my personal camera). My D5100, speedlight, and this item are shown in the photograph The Nine 9th Number. The depth of the water is approximately 8 feet/3 meters Flash Speedlite Cord for Nikon TTL Off Camera Flash You need to make sure the red piece on the top is unscrewed to get flash working. As a result, there were no instructions saying that and we came close to returning before we realized that this was a mistake.

It smells - A flash bracket with a handle makes it easy to take videos
4/5

I'm really pleased with this product. The good is for the most part. My camera (on the bottom) and shotgun microphone (on the top) work with it. It is easy to tighten the thumb screw on the bottom because it is large and long. I was able to hook my microphone up as well, although the mic popped out when I tried to affix it. However, when I tried connecting it a second time, it stayed in place. There is only one downside to this product the material that makes up the handle cover makes your hand smell like a strange chemical, and it's not a faint scent My bag has been in my possession for 10 days and the smell is still IF you can get past the smell (I am still getting used to it) then this is a great product that works as it should.
