I ordered the FDE version of this mount and had it installed on a Ghost Fire Arms receiver with FDE cerakote. Color-wise, it looks a little lighter (50 shades of FDE). Nevertheless, it has a solid feel and is There are around five pounds in the weight. It is about 6 ounces for the deluxe mount, compared to 3 ounces for the Aero precision mounts and 8 ounces for the primary arms mount. 2 oz isn't bad for a starter. There is very little machining noise the screws for the caps and the mounting plate on the side are of high quality. Great mount. I'm extremely happy with it. It is Primary Arms 1 that I installed I installed my 6x gen 3 ACSS scope in the mount, torqued everything up with my FAT wrench, and also liked that the top caps and side mounts all use the same size torx bit.
