This is different from the RFI speedring, what's the difference?

As far as I know, the OCF speeding is only for products made for B1 and B2 accessories the RFI will work for a long range of soft boxes etc. These are the specific OCF products that are lighter in weight and less expensive. Hence, the OCF will not be compatible with many PROFOTO legacy products, as you stated. *br>From my perspective, profoto is relatively overpriced but there are not a lot of alternatives on the market right now. Would you please clarify if I am clear that if you wish to use any Profoto Light modifiers with the B2 heads, that you must also purchase ?

When using a B2 head, the hard reflectors like magnum, zoom, and soft light are not required to be connected to a speed ring. For soft boxes and octa boxes, the B2 head would need to be paired with a speed ring. Let me know if that was helpful!

I have not been able to mount it on the modifier, but it works very well once I figure it out. As with all Profoto products, they are a little too expensive, but I keep buying them because they are durable.

Speedring is an accessory that must be attached to OCF flash heads to allow them to fit on a light stand. Instead of buying one ring for all three reflectors, I bought one for each reflection because I tend to use all three reflectors in a shoot more often than to worry about having to carry them folded like on an In general, I would rather take the car than the airplane to get to my destination. The (pricey) products that Profoto makes are always reliable and worth the investment. Within two days of arrival. I can use my B1 and my B2 with this. As compared to the first one I bought for my B1 (rubber+metal), this one has more rubberized characteristics. The assembler will find it easier if the pieces are color coded.
