The Profoto softboxes may be the best choice for it

Although it is probably best for Profoto softboxes, I tried to pair it with a Lumiair octabox and it was incredibly tight, almost impossible to assemble. After tearing the softbox apart, I was able to put the profoto adapter into the original speed ring of the softbox as I have with all my other softboxes. Not a big deal to spend over $100 on a part I only need the profoto ring part, which isn't sold separately, but it is still a hassle.

It is not possible to use an oval compression sleeve with a strobe

As a result of reading about this problem with the third party Profoto speedrings, I decided to go with the original Immediately upon opening the box, it was apparent it wasn't compatible with Despite the fact that the metal components appear to be high quality, the rings cannot be mounted on the strobe if they are not installed first.

It has a good feel to it. Sturdy. There was one issue that I had, but it wasn't the sellers fault. In my case, I bought this for a profoto ocf beauty dish, and I didn't realize you need a smaller speeding. But the one I bought works great with that dish.

This is great for many different softbox types, but I would like to see a version for parabolic softboxes with 12 - 32 lbs of aperture. The rods are 16 in number.
