Speed Rings from the OCF are not able to handle the heat generated by higher wattages of With a LED modeling light embedded in every head, the OCF Ring was developed exclusively for the battery operated B1 and B2 heads. This should be of some help.

Although it is probably best for Profoto softboxes, I tried to pair it with a Lumiair octabox and it was incredibly tight, almost impossible to assemble. After tearing the softbox apart, I was able to put the profoto adapter into the original speed ring of the softbox as I have with all my other softboxes. This is great for many different softbox types, but I would like to see a version for parabolic softboxes with 12 - 32 lbs of aperture. The rods are 16 in number.
What was described is what is in the product. This is a perfect condition item and I would recommend this retailer.
