Unlike the reviews, there are no complaints about them. Half of mine was threaded together and half was left unstretched. When the rings are tightened, it can be challenging to take them apart, but they still come apart without incident. The threads are excellent, the rings are thin, but they still come apart without issue. I would have returned them if my crossed-threads had come, but they didn't, so I did not.
