Questions & Answers

Could you please tell me the outer diameter, inner diameter and thickness of the ?

As a result of my measurement, here are the results Diameter of the outer ring This was the 67th Thickness = 0, 8 mm). The pixel size is 2 inch (8. Zero millimeters)

Can you tell me what the difference is between the more expensive pro series ring and the less expensive P series ring?

Hello Everyone! The "Z" Pro rings have a larger outer diameter intended for use with lenses that have a focal length of 28mm or above (based on a full frame sensor) or filters that are larger than 67mm in diameter. It is mandatory to use pro rings when using Z-rings A filter holder with a pro rating. Until next time, have a great day, and as always, thank you for your business.

What will this look like on format- What are the advantages of Hitech aluminum 100mm modular holders?

It's hard for me to say for certain, but the rings seem nearly identical and I've heard that rings are interchangeable in most

Do you know if it works with the Nikon D3100?

For as long as the lens filter thread is 77 mm, it will work with any camera. Nothing to do with the adapter ring has anything to do with the camera. It is the thread or diameter of the filter that The only thing you need to do if you have a xyx camera with a lens filter thread of 49,58,62 is to buy a "step up ring," for example, The thickness is 77mm, and the width is 58mm A wide 77mm, a narrow 62mm If the diameter is 77mm, then the reverse should apply. I hope this will be helpful. Juanita, thank you for the kind words

A quick description of Kin I really like the Cokin Z Pro system because it is flexible and cost effective
5/5

It is true that the filters themselves aren't as good as B+W (or similar), and there is a gap between the lens and the filter you don't have to worry about when you use Nevertheless, I can use this system with my entire camera collection, from 35mm to 8x10. And the cost of purchasing all filters for each type of thread- a fraction of what I would spend buying them individually With multiple lenses with different thread sizes, this system is pretty hard to beat if you have more than a few. I am pleased with the quality of the aluminum rings and how they fit The design of the filter holder is quite good, allowing three to four filters to be inserted, and the filters can be used for a variety of applications, though they are plastic.

Cokin Z-adapter ring that is thin and works well The pro is
4/5

Adapter rings can be used with the Cokin Z-series They are relatively small, allowing them to screw together easily, not difficult to do at all, unlike the wide angle adaptor rings of the other 100mm filter holders available from.

The product does what has been designed for it Cokin Z filters do not function with Lee filters that have the foam seal to block in all light during exposure, and I find the whole system incompatible
4/5

Despite the cover's smooth sliding properties, there is an imprint label in the plastic housing that interferes with its smooth movement, allowing light to pass through both the seal and the filter holder, resulting in a foggy look. In my case I am not simply interested in the effect of murky water with long exposures, I am interested in the entire picture I am a big fan of the sky. You should get the Lee filter kit if you plan to take long exposures.

There is a big problem with this design
3/5

A review from a few days ago confirmed that Cokin's 77mm Z series adapter ring works perfectly as advertised, and that it screws on and off with no issues at all. In short, it is a sturdy. It holds the filter holder on and does what it's supposed to do. This is an issue when you take a photo of something bright (which is pretty much what these things are for) and you get an arc of white from the reflection of the text "COKIN - ON HARDWARE" The only reason we are on *77 is because This is the 0th. The following age range is 75 to 80 There is an exterior brand name "FRANCE" painted on the There is no other way to fix this than to paint over it, which is what I plan Therefore, instead of giving it 5 stars, I am giving it 2 stars as I would have done it myself had I wanted DIY. In the event that they ever fix this and send me another one without the problem, I will give them a 5, thanks.

I would rate it as pretty good overall
4/5

My camera uses this adapter ring so that I can use graduated neutral density filters. My problem is that I have never been able to screw it onto it easily in all the time I have owned it. It works very well and holds everything in place perfectly, but I have never I think it has something to do with both the adapter and the 10 stop ND filter that I usually use with it, but sometimes it can be a hassle. I'm aware that there have been complaints about its reflective properties, but I have never run into an issue even in bright settings. Again, I'm using it with both a ND filter and a GND filter so perhaps that's why I've never seen any issues. I highly recommend it.

Besides that, it is wonderful. Unlike a large metal ring, a small metal ring doesn't need much introduction. Using GND filters with my camera is possible with this device because it works, is light, and can be easily carried.

There was a problem with this item when it arrived
3/5

Adapter ring made of metal for the motor. There was a problem with this item when it arrived. It was warped to the point it did not grip the lens' thread, so it was unable to grip. Having to forego using my filters was a real inconvenience since I was going on a Yosemite camping trip the day after the item arrived. This is not something we see very often, so we're going to return this item.
