This is a fantastic addition. The 52-year-old is an amateur photographer. The 58mm step up ring is perfect for my needs! I use a couple of 58mm filters and hoods with my standard Canon 18-55mm lens. I usually use a 55mm kit lens, but I recently purchased a Yongnuo 50mm f1 lens on the cheap. Portrait and low-light photography with the 8 lens. This saves me a lot of money on accessories and helps to eliminate minor vignetting on my 50mm due to the slight size increase.

Very easy to screw on camera, but as with all others, you may need to use some tricks to unscrew it or purchase an actual filter wrench. Btw, they all have this problem.

It's perfect, and I like the storage case it came in. I bought this to use with another lens to mount a tiffen fog filter. I didn't have to purchase another filter, which saved me money.

I've been shopping on Amazon since 2002, but until now, I'd never left a product review. I was blown away by the high quality and value of this step-by-step guide. I recently purchased several Breakthrough Photography filters to use on my larger lenses with 82mm filter threads, so I decided to buy some affordable step-up rings to compliment Rise(UK) and their fantastic product. I made up rings to allow me to use those filters on my smaller lenses. I had never heard of Rise(UK) before, and I had no idea what to expect from them, but this step-by-step guide helped me to understand what they were all about. I decided to give up ring a try because it was so inexpensive. And I'm very glad I did! The step- The ring came in a small Ziploc bag. The first thing I noticed about this step was that it used a plastic bag with a small sticker on the outside identifying the bag's size. It was the lightness of the ring that caught my attention. It's made of lightweight aluminum, which can be both good and bad depending on your perspective. Because I have a heavy photography backpack with two DSLR cameras and several lenses, I prefer to use a lightweight step stool.
