It's perfectly acceptable to use larger filters on lenses with smaller diameters. Because close-up filters are spherical, they have no trouble blocking out the edges.

They are successful. They are reasonably priced. You can purchase better adapters, but they will be much more expensive! The job of an adapter is not overly complicated, and these do the job well and at a low cost. The quality of the materials and the threading of the parts are the most important considerations. A jammed adapter can be caused by bad threads and poor metal. If you use a little caution, these will work fine. They do exactly what I need and work well, so I'm satisfied with them. I didn't want to pay ten times as much for a part that I only use once in a while, so the price was ideal. If I were a working professional who had to turn these off and on frequently throughout the day, I might be willing to pay a little more for a well-made name-brand brass unit. These are adequate for my needs, and I would purchase them again.
My first set was returned because one of them threaded fine but the other got stuck. Both of them get stuck in the replacement set. I examined the threads closely and discovered that the rings are spot welded. The filter threads are caught in the welds. This is concerning because it is a harder material than the rings and could cause your expensive filters to cross thread or be damaged. br>br>I returned them and will pay for better-made rings.
These are far superior to having a lens with 20 step up rings. They send two so you can use them on a couple of lenses and not see the rings in the filter when you take pictures because the reflections are subtle. Purchase only the sizes that you require, rather than a large quantity of sizes that you do not. These keep the filter close to the lens, ensuring that the desired effect is achieved.
The ring was simple to put on, and the filter was simple to attach. I use it on a regular basis in my work and can confidently recommend it to photographers and videographers who use screw-on filters on their lenses.
I used it with my Hoya ND filter once, and it is now completely stuck to the ND filter. I've tried everything I can think of to get it off, but so far I've been unsuccessful. I'll need a rubber sheet to hold this in place. It would be so much better if it had some sort of grippy texture on the edges.
Up Rings that are precision cut and very lightweight had me convinced it was plastic until I dropped one and the clink or ping of metal rang out, reassuring me it wasn't a plastic product. , It's a great deal! It's been assigned to attach itself to my 58mm IR lens. And when you have four IR lenses, you'll need four step-by-step instructions. Up Rings are a great way to change your clothes quickly.
They're not flimsy, but they're not particularly light. They should work fine if you are careful when screwing/unscrewing and don't overtighten them. br>I wouldn't recommend them for heavy professional use, but they should be fine for light use. br>Excellent price/quality ratio.
Well, it accomplishes its stated goal. It just happens to be on the thinner side of metal, so I imagine it would bend fairly easily if dropped incorrectly, but I could be wrong. To me, she just appeared to be frail! Also, for a two-pack, this is a good price.
