Choosing Hoya is the best decision you'll ever make. In the end, it wasn't the inability to do it that we were faced with, it was the cheap filters that let us down.
Through the lens, visible light is blocked and infrared light can pass through. The infrared spectrum is not intended for human eyes to see. Unlike humans, cameras can see the world in a way that cannot be matched by a camera.
Your lens should be able to use this if its filter thread is 52mm. If you want to capture enough IR and visible light, it may be necessary to use a tripod and long exposure times. Perhaps as long as 30 seconds would suffice

This filter was bought in two sizes so I could photograph infrared with the As a Hoya R72 fan, I was looking forward to getting one, however the price for this filter was too low and many of the previous 1 star reviews seemed more to be user error than a defective product. Unfortunately, these filters are not "real" In my case, the first clue was the short exposure time (well under a second at f/8) and the second was the lack of It's not the first time I've been around the Ir block Setting a custom white balance and switching channels are things I am familiar with. Any amount of processing would not be able to recreate the IR appearance of an image. I returned the filters to my local Whole Foods the following day and received a refund from Amazon within a few hours. Therefore, I'd say it's a 1 star product and a 5 star process with Amazon. There has been an order for Hoyas. After the sample has been tested, I will come back and post an update to this review.
According to me, the quality of these images are great because they are comparable to those seen online and I am not using any special gear except for the filter, adapter rings, and a DSLR that does not need to be altered. is ideal since I am on a tight budget. The camera and brightness of the sunlight affect the time of the shot and the overall image. As some cameras are less sensitive to IR, I have to take the picture before noon. To take great photos under blazing sun, you must be outside in extreme heat.
There is no IR filter in it. A dark red glass seems to be all that is there. Charlie is evident in the viewfinder, which should not be the case, and exposure times are under one second, which is pretty fast for a non-professional camera Camera which has been converted. There is also a large black area on the foliage when it should be bright white. No amount of post-processing can make the picture turn out as expected when it is shot in IR. It's disappointing to say the least, and I'm not sure from where any of these positive reviews are coming.
Although my images didn't turn out for the life of me, thanks to some research I found out there are a lot of processes involved in infrared photography, even when taking just a picture A remote light test with this lens showed that it is an infared lens, but know that you have to do a lot to make this work. Your camera's white balance can be customized, aperture/iso can be adjusted manually, and a selfie can be created. Convert the color channels in your editing software using the DNG color profile for your camera. You then may have a picture that is what your infared dreams may consist of once you have done that step.
We aren't able to do this. Despite my best efforts, the red text would not go away. Despite looking online for the appropriate editing software, I was unable to find one. This is an item that I would not recommend. You need to find the real thing.
The glass feels sturdy and overall is of high Over the years, I have used many different brands of filters, including well-known brands. I have become very picky about the filters I use. As of now, I am happy with the sharpness of pictures taken with this filter. I bought it with the hope that it would provide good infrared photos. There appears to be a small halo around the center as I've seen with In bright settings, there is a great contrast.
The results I have gotten so far have worked for me. I was able to adjust the type of light and adjust the results to suit me.
The filter looks nice - Integrated with a digital camera that has been converted into a full spectrum variant. White clouds are surrounded by black and grey foliage. It gives the proper black and grey skies. The packaging is also quite nice. A protective force.
