A round filter has been used in this application. would be designed to fit in a Cokin "P" series filter holder typically used for square filter. In order for the filter to fit into the filter holder, an outer ring that is narrower than the filter itself is used. In contrast to most round filters, this one does not screw onto the lens. Approximately 3 1/2 inches (88 mm) in diameter is the outer rim There is about a 3 inch diameter to the filter. That should be of some help.
That's not the wavelength of light, that's the length of that wavelength. There is a difference of 1/150th of a sheet of typing paper between 720nm and 720nm.
I am not sure what size it is, but it is unimportant. It is necessary to have an adapter that is the correct size to fit the filter screw on your lens, and this fits
The D80 does not have live view, so when the filter is attached you cannot see anything at all, and AF and metering also are not available. This means that you have to perform a prefocus before using the filter. To do so, the camera had to be mounted on a tripod and all the auto functions had to be turned off. Using it with a newer camera with live view mode, such as the Nikon D7000, allows it to be used much simpler.

For the past 38 years, I've only used Cokin filters. My reasoning for taking off a star was that I thought they were reducing their quality, even though it was branded Cokin France/Cokin. This frame and filter are made of plastic and are as light as a feather. A polarizing filter that is oval in shape and metal and glass is in my possession. In addition, the filter was placed inside a paper pouch without a filter case in a soft envelope sent to my address Having folded it up, I have it in my mailbox. I have to find a case for it so I can put it in my camera bag because it could have easily been damaged. Since I only tested a few shots in the wind and need to practice channel swapping, I have not yet verified the clarity, but so far it seems to be working well.
I would like to say hi. There are imperfections in the plastic of the product. The illusion of ripples and bubbles is created by use of a low intensity light. If I were to use IR film, I would use a ND8 and f16 as I always had.
This filter is fantastic once you know how to use it. It works much better than expected.
As I expected, it is able to do what I need it to. In particular, it does a good job of preventing light from radiating past the back of it since it fits flush in the holder.
For those interested in infrared photography, this is a nice starter filter. It was the P007 that made me realize just how much I enjoyed the Cokin P series and have already added other filters for it. Great performance is provided by this product. Mounting and using the device is simple This is definitely something I would.
It's taking some time to get used to the new Unless I do my homework and learn what makes a good infrared photo, I won't be able to capture good infrared photos.
In general, I like Cokin filters and use them quite a bit. As well as the quality, I like the fact that they can be used on multiple lenses, with different filter diameters by switching only out the adapter rings. It is more likely the design of my camera (Canon EOS 30D) than this filter that is hindering my use of it. A cut-out for Infrared illumination is included on this camera The color rendition of visible colors is improved by an out filter. Having the filter on facilitates the use of this filter for infrared photography, but it mostly renders it In order to achieve good results with this filter, long exposures are also required, even in bright light (30 seconds or longer). It becomes impossible to take photos of people when this occurs and the image is also filled with a lot of noise. All the images produced have a very strong, deep red color to them. My red filter would cast as if it were an ordinary one. It would be great if I could use this filter to get some interesting false color images, but the filter does not seem to allow this.
I purchased this filter from another website, but found it to be quite a fun piece of equipment. There are a few cons to it It leaks light unless I drape a cloth along the top of the filter holder and cover the view finder with my hand. It is also So far, I haven't figured out how to disengage the static cling of the system. a very nice effect and I enjoy using it when I take pictures.
