I purchased this to comply with that requirement. It is better to have them in a water-tight case so that they do not short out if they hit the water. There is no water leakage. I am very happy with them. You can place the battery either up or down (this is how you know if the battery is charged or not) Excellent! No better way to start a day.

Sony FZ100 batteries are built with excellent fit and finish

The Sony NP-F1 is an absolutely amazing fit Sony FZ100 batteries for full frame cameras such as the A7III and later. Battery is stationary and there is no movement or space around it. The plastic is thick and hard and the clasps are strong. Although I haven't tried the water resistance, the door has a rubber seal to keep the water out. In addition to the orange seal, it looks very similar to that of the Sony Alpha. Sony A7III, A7R III, A7R IV, A9, A9 II, and A1 shooters will find this to be highly recommended.

When I handle batteries, I am always concerned about damaging the pins or leads Objects made of iron bouncing around in your pocket with keys, spare change, and other metal things. I am perfectly pleased with these battery storage cases for my Sony A7rIII. A recent trip to Spain gave me the opportunity to use the SD Card holder It would be helpful to have an emergency card and battery.

The best way to store the Sony NP-FZ80 I have a set of batteries for my FZ100

It doesn't matter whether the batteries are labeled up or down, they fit well. You can then put the label up for fully charged batteries and the label down for discharged batteries. Although I store them separately, the SD cards seem to fit well (or the other way around). One of the MicroSD cards did not fit so well, but I only had one to test. It looks like they may be water-resistant and have gaskets installed, but I didn't test that.

It's an excellent way to keep camera batteries safe

Various environmental elements can damage batteries and they protect them from these things. It is not known how long the hedge will last but should be okay from a financial standpoint.

NO! DON'T put it in the water! To go with my Sony NP-FX1 these were the perfect choice A set of batteries for the FZ100 My coat pocket contained 2 batteries in these cases, as I was hiking in the river (Narrows in Zion NP), and I stumbled and briefly dipped into it I immediately ruined 2 expensive batteries by letting them fill with water
