Reviews Would Have You Believe It's Not As Good As It Is
5/5

The design is excellent The handle is comfortable to hold and the product works perfectly. some comments that the battery tray is flimsy, in fact I believe that the battery tray is of adequate strength for the application for which it is intended. I would likely break it with my car if I ran over it. The battery tray has caused some complaints from others about how it fits batteries. The directions were easy to read, but they didn't. Similarly, batteries are inserted into the tray just as they are inserted into the battery charger. There are slots along the sides of the battery that allow you to access the As soon as the tray is inverted, they latch firmly into place and do not fall out. Battery changing on the field is made easy with this device The mud is not a good place for them to sink. Battery trays can be removed by pressing the small release tabs beside the batteries, which allow each to be popped out easily. I could not have asked for a simpler process. If you don't care about the negative reviews, ignore them. It may be a good fit for your purpose if this grip meets your needs.

A very good grip solution (except for the battery tray) for the Canon 5D Mark IV
4/5

Through the years, I have bought several Canon grips, and I have always been happy with There is no exception to the rule in this one. You'd expect Canon's excellent build quality with this particular grip. It feels great in the hand and is a pleasure to use. It is well worth noting that the contours of the grip extend the shape of the 5D Mark IV quite nicely. There is one complaint that I have (as others have noted) and that is that the battery tray is weepy, to say the least. It is not like the battery trays found on This item is made of glossy, thin plastic that is extremely flexible. When putting in the batteries, it's difficult to 'feel' if they are seated correctly - they come out flat if they're not seated It seems that even a slight pressure is enough to crack the tray even if it is only used for putting them in or taking them out. Due to this reason, I docked one star, however, given that most of my interactions with the grip are NOT with the battery tray, I still give it As mentioned, this grip lacks the AAA tray found in other grips, however, I have never needed to use it It is highly likely that you are near a wall outlet where you can charge your LP-S batteries if you are close enough to buy AAA batteries In English, A6Ns.

A Grip that costs a lot
3/5

This grip is expensive and semi-permanent It is constructed with a solid foundation. Instead of being manufactured in Japan, the grip is produced in Taiwan. Probably Canon is looking to save a little money on production and increase their profit margin on this Batteries in the cage feel flimsy and are made with plastic that has a cheap feel, so you wouldn't be able to grab them out of My EOS 5D4 looks nice paired with this and the construction of the exterior seems sturdy. It only came into my possession to help me deal with my heavy use of the 5D4, GPS and WiFi drain the battery heavily. If you don't need the extra power, you would probably want to avoid this product. As well as adding a great deal of weight to the camera. The grip would be more appealing if it were priced at $200 or less, or if it were made of higher quality materials.

Despite improved ergonomics, Canon fails to improve the battery tray? I'd like to start by focusing on what matters most A Canon large body camera grip that is ergonomically designed to fit all large bodies
4/5

I have directly compared this grip to the 5D3 and 7D2 grips that I have on hand, and it is contoured to your hand and feels similar to the grip that comes incorporated with the 1DX2. vantage point, I consider the new grip to be my favorite model I find this to be very A waterproof battery grip is available This battery is sealed and has a gasket around both its own battery door, as well as where the battery communication line enters the This feature was not available in the Canon grip for the 5D3 and is available on the Canon grip for the 7D2. Can you tell me what Canon did As I think this is a move to reduce weight, I assume it was made for that purpose. It feels like the new tray is made of garbage, and the way the batteries load is unusual. There will come a point when this gets stale. My real intention is to break. Due to the design changes, it feels very poorly made, and the batteries are not securely held in the tray as they were before. It is such a shame they messed up this.

As long as you handle the camera with normal care when loading and unloading, everything will be fine
5/5

And yes, two batteries are perfect for this camera. There is not much else I can say about it because it is Canon hardware. There is a light plastic tray that slides into the slide-in battery. In any case, the battery grip housing protects it. Load and unload it with normal care to avoid breaking the camera. And yes, the camera is heavy due to the two batteries being in it. The laws of motion can be easily remembered with Newton's laws. As long as an outside force is not acting on a resting thing, that thing will remain resting. Using Isaac as a monopod will be as easy as holding it steady.

of the Canon 5d Markiv battery grip BG-ES The 20th century! Here are a few pros (see images) It has been a smooth process from order to delivery
5/5

I was able to arrive on time. Everything was properly boxed. There were all the necessary papers inside. Securing the box was done I was pleased with the price. The quality of our products is superb. This mount fits easily and accurately with the 5d mark IV. Installed without any problem (I posted a youtube video). Cons It doesn't feel as well built as it looks. I don't. My only reason for giving four out of five stars was that the battery life in general is not remarkable. A little iffy on the grips, though not the grips fault. Otherwise, I'd rate it Very good product, i would buy the same one again without a second thought.

Invest in this product if you are an avid shooter
5/5

My batteries are battery grips, and I've bought them for all of my 5ds. Until now they have all worked very well, and this time It has also been noted that the battery tray itself is lighter in weight. The new version does not seem as solid as previous versions, but it works just fine and I haven't encountered any problems. In the event that you have been buying Canon battery grips, this will work for you just as well. Invest in this grip if you often shoot portraits and would appreciate the convenience of extra battery life if you just bought your first one.

Using battery grips with DSLR cameras is a great idea! Using battery grips with DSLR cameras is a great idea! In terms of comfort, shooting in portrait orientation is the biggest benefit
5/5

In spite of grips, I find that I tend to shoot portraits most of the time. Several times, I find that when I shoot without the grips, I shoot in a more "portrait" orientation, but then crop into this orientation during post-production, throwing away a lot I believe Canon grips are an MUCH better construction than 3rd party grips, however they are a MUCH higher cost.
