I'm not sure about an exact answer, but I can say that on a full charge, I've shot almost 2 hours of HD video and about 1200 pictures with both batteries still fully charged.
My charging station was for a Canon 70D. It stores two batteries, one is used to power the camera and the other is used when the first drops to a point where it is no longer useful. By doing this you effectively double the battery life, so there is no need to remove anything. As well as AA batteries, you will get a battery box attachment. There is no way you will ever run out of battery power. Your 80D battery would also be well-suited to Wasbi batteries. You can get them at a really good price on Amazon.
You can use it with the 80D, yes. Each of them has this grip, and I have 2 of them. I'm very pleased with how things are going

My camera feels better, this makes taking pictures easier, and I love that it allows you to use AA batteries. It is a little heavy, but is more than worth it, when I took it off my camera felt so weird I had to put it back on.
Having used Neewer holders twice now, this is the second one I have owned. A new camera was necessary for me since I upgraded my old one recently. of the videos is very good, and I have never run out of power while I was taking photos. A piece of electrical tape was used to modify the latch on the battery compartment door so it would stay closed. There is a pocket on the grip where you can stash the battery compartment door from your camera. The camera is a must for all photographers, I believe.
This battery case is cheaper and has the capability to hold either two batteries or four AA batteries (though I'm not sure how long the 4 AA batteries will last, but it's very convenient to use two Only downside is that you have to push down quite hard on the button on the grip to shoot, and sometimes two pictures are taken instead of one, and that the grip is fairly wide, so it might strain your hand a bit (and I have big )

I have owned a number of Canon battery grips over the years and I must admit I was a bit skeptical of this product because its price was so low compared to other Canon grips. As far as quality goes, I am pleased with new battery grip holder from Neewer. For whatever camera I have in the future, I will purchase the Neewer brand grip if one is available.
I found the grip area to feel just like the outside grip area of a Canon camera. I liked the dual batteries and the fact that it can be used with AA batteries as well (cartridge is included). In addition, I bought a direct power AC pack which fits right into the pop out door that holds the power cord. I also love the portrait (vertical) buttons for taking pictures - they're so easy to use, no slapping your wrist trying to keep the camera level!

I sincerely recommend that all photographers will purchase a grip for each camera as it really extends the length of time their camera can operate. Additionally, the camera has been altered in terms of performance, giving the photographer a greater level of comfort while shooting.
In one chamber, I can store two Canon batteries. By pushing in the tab, the chamber slides out like a drawer, and remains closed tight. It is opened by lifting up the tab. How cool it is that I don't need to wait for a charge when using just one, and how it works so well! It's much better for shooting videos, especially since the battery life is so much longer.
