Selected User Reviews For Haoge HG-CLB Hand Grip Bracket Holder Designed for Leica CL Camera Body
In November 2019, I purchased the Leica CL and have used the CL grip ever since I got the camera. My opinion is that the Haoge is superior to this grip because it has the following benefits 1 -
2. As a matter of first importance, the front grip on the Leica grip is a straight horizontal. Your middle finger rests both on and across the surface of the shutter button when your index finger is on the shutter button. I like it, but I don't feel as confident in it. With the Haoge, I can rest my middle finger at the proper anatomical angle and enjoy a smooth, curved surface. **1. **2. Towards the bottom of the Haoge is a cutout that enables access to the battery and card. As opposed to removing the Leica grip, you do not have to remove the 1.
2.
3. An integral tripod socket is included in the Haoge. Screwing in an Arca Swiss is no problem for me I have a tripod ballhead with the style of this plate. 2.
3.
4. It is much easier to turn and grip the screw when the large screw plate on the bottom of the grip, which is used to fasten and remove the grip, extends just enough beyond its dimensions. It was harder to turn the Leica screw plate every time, especially when I was wearing gloves. It is obvious that I won't be taking it off very often because of point #2. I'm happy to see Haoge winning again! 3. *5. Both the fit and finish of the version of the Leica are of the highest quality. This Haoge looks better to me due to its textured appearance. The number six. Lastly, lets talk about price. The Leica lists for $167. Does more need to be said?.
Essentially, what this camera holder was designed to do is to comfortably hook in three fingers of your right hand, allowing you to securely hold the camera either one handed or with two fingers for added security. My only issue is that the battery door and memory card door are hard to open, but the device is well built.
This grip is much cheaper than the official Leica grip, and it has a battery access point, which the Leica grip does not have. A tiny, and I mean tiny, aspect of it is that it adds more weight to the In spite of that, my leather case has a "grip" that adds almost the same amount and this grip is so much more convenient.
Great work, I really like it.
