Questions & Answers

What is included in the box, as well as the type of connector?

Connectors with two pins. 2 12" tubes with 6" wires, a controller, and a back slot switch to turn it on or off. as well as four Velcro mounting pads

Will these turn off when I turn off my system, or will I have to flip a switch to turn them off?

They'll turn off and on with the computer as long as the switch is in the "on" position. The switch can also be used to manually turn them on and off.

Is there a way to connect it to a computer? I recently purchased one and am unsure how to connect it to my computer. Is there anything else I need, such as an extra adapter?

The PCI plate/switch assembly is first installed in a PCI expansion slot in the back of your computer case, followed by the 4-pin PCI cable. a 4-pin Molex connector into a 4-pin Molex connector into a Molex connector into a Molex connector Your power supply should have a pin Molex connector. After that, there's a two-step process. The connector and backplate have a pin plug that you plug into the blue box. Both light tubes are connected to the blue box on the opposite side. However, after you've placed the lights in the proper locations, place the blue box accordingly. The wires aren't long at all.

Is this light suitable for printing on darkroom photography paper?

Maybe? However, keep in mind that the plug-ins aren't free. It is inserted directly into the motherboard of a computer. It should, however, work if you can devise a way to plug it into a wall socket in your dark room. Red is a relative light; it is not a spectrum or light variable. That is to say, you could literally take a fluorescent light bulb and cover it with a red tent to achieve the same effect. If you're dead set on using this product, it'll work just fine. But keep in mind that using fluorescent bulbs and wrapping them in red cellophane, or simply purchasing lamps and inserting red light bulbs from Walmart, would be far less expensive:

Your computer should be turned on! When it comes to purchasing products, I always conduct some research
5/5

This product has not disappointed me in the least as an avid gamer and PC builder. It's two 12" red LED light sticks powered by a Molex connector, just like the descriptions say. PRO: br>br>PRO: br>br>PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO
- The price is reasonable, and it's a simple way to brighten up any computer with a side window.
- A glue-free version of the power brick is included. as if it were a very strong tape
- The lights are powerful and have lasted me three months without a hitch.
- It has a switch that allows you to swipe left or right. This consumes 1 PCI-E slot. But it's worth it to take the E slot. br>br>CON: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place
- The power brick is an unsightly white that would show if it were not properly positioned in the case.
- The wires running from the power switch to the power brick are brightly colored and will show if they are not properly positioned in the case.
- They don't give you the most durable double-sided tape.

Case Lights in a Bright Red Color

Does the job! This was purchased to add some flair to my Cooler Master Storm Trooper case, and it does so admirably
4/5

Given that this is my first time installing cold cathode lights in a computer case, I must say that the process is relatively simple. I wasn't able to connect it the way I wanted, so I went with what appears to be the standard setup: one along the bottom and one along the side of the motherboard, which effectively illuminates the inside of my case. Some previous reviewers have stated that these lights are somewhat orange, and I must say that I agree to some extent. They have a slight orange tinge to them, but they appear to be predominantly red. You won't be able to tell the difference, to be honest. When it comes to the velcro strips, I'm not sure if they'll hold up because the adhesive side doesn't appear to be very sticky; we'll see how well they hold up! Aside from that, if you're looking for a low-cost way to light your case, look no further. It'll get the job done for a reasonable price!br>br>Update: Unfortunately, the velcro gave out about a week after I finished writing this. I'll have to devise a new method of mounting the lights to my chassis.

Like others have said, there is more orange than red, and the velcro is bad
3/5

Despite reading several other reviews claiming that these tubes are more orange than red in color, I decided to take a chance on them. They are more orange in color than red, in my opinion. Also, as others have stated, the velcro that comes with the package is ineffective and does not stick for long periods of time, and if the tubes are mounted on the top/sides, they will fall inside your case. I bought some velcro from Home Depot and cut it down to size, which worked perfectly. The tubes work well and provide adequate lighting, with the ability to turn them on and off using the back cover insert, but the color is a little orange, and I had to purchase additional velcro to connect them, so they only get three stars. br>Notable features include: br>* If you're expecting a red that matches your red led fans or on/off lights, these won't work. br>* Get some good velcro to attach these; the included velcro isn't worth your time, effort, or frustration.

It's a decent product with a low price and a low quality
3/5

This is a mediocre kit. When viewed indirectly (through the case and components), the light is a pleasing red color, but when the tube is directly visible, it is slightly orangey. I didn't like how dark the room was. It was barely noticeable as any brighter than the existing red-lighting in my office, which was lit by bright fluorescent lighting. LED fans in the color orange. The wires connecting the tubes to the inverter, in my opinion, are too short. They restrict the types of installations that can be done. They're around 12-years-old, I'd say. I'm not sure how long it is, but it's at least an inch long. The connection between the inverter and the PCI-based graphics card. The bezel switch, on the other hand, is quite long. The switch's power wire is also long enough and terminates in a Molex pass-through connector. by way of tap The Velcro provided was extremely sticky, which is fantastic and gives me confidence that they will stay in place much better than those who only provided foam tape or nothing at all. I've owned better CC lights in the past, but I'll keep these because my complaints aren't enough to warrant the hassle of returning them.

Although there were some issues, the overall experience was satisfactory
4/5

The lights are very bright and go well with the red LED fans in my case. The velcro that comes with the case is a joke; it's not strong enough to hold a tube against gravity on top of a case. Fortunately, I was able to place my tube in such a way that it didn't require velcro on the top. I'm still baffled as to how I did it. The switch is a nice feature, but I find it completely unnecessary and would prefer to have the switch on the cyan box itself, though I recognize that others may find it very useful, particularly those who keep their computers running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The cables are far too short; I'm sure I wouldn't be able to arrange the tubes properly if I had a full tower case. In general, for the price, it's a decent kit.
