It is difficult for me to say The two dark rooms I have each have a 380cfm and a 460cfm fan. I have 2 vents in each There are four by six by seven feet of vents and doors with doors closed, and it is windy in there. Overheating or burnout of the fans does not appear to be an issue. It would be nice to have two more vents per room to even out A pair of vents is on each side of the box. In the event of a power outage, any inside odor will seep out instead of being destroyed by the blower unit. It seems that not a single ray of light penetrates. On one side, I put a spotlight but not a single ray of light reaches me.

The vent is awesome. There is no light coming through it. There is plenty of air here. My grow box is 4x6x7 and has two vents. There is so much wind in there, and the vents do a good job at catching it. It has zero light penetration, making it the ideal growing medium.
According to the description, this product appears to be fully light tight. The quality of the product is excellent. It would be a good purchase again if the need arose.
I am still waiting for half of My grow room was exactly what I had to have. My customer ordered two of these but only one has been delivered so far.
So I paid all in all $100.
Air flows freely, but light is not allowed. I'm pleased with how it works. It is difficult to find anything to dislike about this.
I like it a lot! Vent works exactly as described in the description, and I use it every day. All you can feel is how little air moves through it, which is a bit unnerving.
It has four fins, which is where the air can circulate Black micro louvers that are stacked thinly on top of one another By taking advantage of the fact that light cannot bend around corners, the laser is intended to produce a more intense image. In addition to taking up little space on your wall, they are unobtrusive (can be spray painted to match your wall), and they block nearly all light quite well. The only thing that is visible from an extremely well lit room on the other side of this vent is a faint glow when a dark room is nearby. (To increase the efficiency of the vent, it is recommended that you caulk the edges after screwing it into the 8"x8" hole in aware that multiple layers of louvers will partially prevent airflow because they block light. Using my best guesstimate, I estimate that the blockage will reduce the effective venting area by about 50%, and so this vent will only provide 32 square inches of air passage, instead of In my darkroom, I use one 8 x 8 louver to provide intake air for an 80 CFM vent fan, which is connected to a 4" exhaust duct, and have there has been no problem with air exhaustion. Obviously, your mileage may vary, and you may need to use a second 8x8 louver for additional intake air if your exhaust fan is larger.
