Questions & Answers

Zeiss microfiber cloth - how to wash it?

Whenever I wash mine, I add cold water to prevent rusting. Fabric softener should not be used. My approach is to use something like oxyclean or spray &amp wash if it is stained Remove the oil with water or Resolve it. To ensure that all cleaning product residue is removed from clothes, I always use a second rinse cycle and then tumble dry each piece separately on low I feel that keeping the fabrics separate and not using fabric softener helps to prevent the microfiber from being damaged. They clean well and don't streak unless they need to be washed, even when there are a few stains that haven't come out so far. It is the youngest of the three. Only Zeiss cloth has given me the performance I was looking for

When you clean the cloth, what do you do?

A quick and easy way to deal with damage.

How do you describe the texture of this Zeiss Does it have a silky feel, is it more like suede, or does it have something in between Could you weave them between each other, like a ?

In comparison with MagicFiber, it has a silkier feel and a lighter weight. As long as I am using it for the right purpose, I like both. The clothing ads in Cloth Addiction are my favorite, but they are

In this purchase, how many Jumbo Microfiber cloths are included?

I'm the one! With a budget of $7, you could just as well buy an 8oz of X2 cleaner and 2 free smaller Zeiss microfiber cloths. Regardless of how nice these cloths are (and they are nice), this amount of fabric is far too much for a single cloth.

In what manner did they act? These have previously been purchased by me and I have My previous order lasted nine months and I was not pleased with it
3/5

There was a thinness to the material, and it had a hard time cleaning. The first time I got it, I thought maybe it was Two more are on the way. There is no difference between them. Material is thinner now than it used to be, and it is now smeared all over. Over time, the glasses will get clean, however, you have to work hard and be persistent to do so. In the older ones, the material was thicker and worked very well. There has to be another brand that I can buy in the future A second time. The goal of companies is to build a good product, but why?.

This cloth is great for cleaning optical devices, and it doesn't collect so much dust and hair as many cloths do
5/5

Zeiss microfiber cloths are my favorite when it comes to microfiber cloths. They are as beautiful as the small ones, which are also lovely in their own way.
I use these cloths for cleaning the vast array of professional photography equipment I own. A lot of other microfiber cloths not only attract dust and hair with their static electric charge, but they also transfer it to the item you are cleaning. There does not seem to be any static electric charge on these cloths, yet they still remove dust, hair, and other grime from surfaces when using them. In addition to cleaning my TV screens, I also use these to clean my binoculars, sunglasses, etc. They are not abrasive, obviously, and no microfiber cloth will be either. However, the stated above reason alone is why I gave these clothes a 5 out of In addition, they do well when washed several times. For the most part, I dry them with a dryer sheet, so they are lint free. It is only natural that they will accumulate lint and pile over time, as any cloth will. As a relatively new user, I can actually use Zeiss cloths to wipe away dust particles (in the mirror) inside my DSLR cameras when they are still quite new. Obviously a lot of people will gripe about this, but there is no reason to use sensor swabs for this. As for canned air, I don't think it's worth too much. There is a difference in the cloths.

The cloth is of the highest quality
5/5

There is a lot of cloth on the table and it is very I cleaned my lens once, and my lens started to smudge immediately. Seems to be lint-free, but since it is white, I couldn't get it clean. However, as others have mentioned, if I ever need to clean it, I can always buy another one at such a great price. In order to wrap my ND filter inside of the unlined pouch, I needed this. There is plenty of space to wrap the large diameter (77mm) and filter that I have, and it is big enough to fold in half and still be able to wrap it. The pros include Then continue reading If the cloth is large in size, you can use parts of the cloth instead of the whole piece, which will extend the life until it needs to be cleaned or replaced. Then continue reading This lens case does not have stitching or any finishing on the edges which could possibly scratch your lenses. I really enjoyed the softness of the microfiber cloth, mainly lint-free. Quite inexpensive, but there are a few cons Then continue reading There was not much to complain about, except maybe it would be nice to have a bag to store it in in order to keep it from getting dirty in your bag, but that's just being picky. As a result In the event that I need another cleaning cloth in the future, I will purchase this one again without a second thought. It's very convenient to have such a large size, and the material is so soft and thin that you can still fold it up and put it into one of your camera case's pockets.

I have worn glasses for 50 years, and this is the best pair that I have ever The review I wrote for this item has not been posted since I read the reviews
5/5

My glasses have been with me for about 50 years now, and this is the best cleaning cloth I've ever used. The one I bought from WallyWorld grew legs after a while, so I tried the knockoff they replaced it with, but I was not pleased with it. Generally, I find that when cleaning glasses, these cloths are less likely to smear than other types. It is usually a sign that the cloth needs to be washed when they begin to bleed a lot. The washer is to be filled with hard cold water and normal laundry detergent with no fabric softener. The dryer is to be hung up. The older one still performed like new, even though it was three years old. Using a lense cleaning solution with them makes them work even better, but they also work just as well without one. In addition to glasses, televisions, computers, and my cell phone I also use them for windshields and windows if Zeiss made a giant size for them as well. My only problem is that they never do stop growing legs on me and disappearing of their own accord.

This is just the best microfiber cloth you can use on photo and video equipment
5/5

The towel is soft, large, and comfortable--ideally suited for a person of any age. To be on the safe side, I bought two. Despite its small size, it grabs oil in no time at all. It's helpful to wrap the lenses with them before putting them in my bag sometimes. Extra security just for your peace of mind. It's hard to find fault in these. You should have one of these!.

I am overwhelmed
3/5

A dinner linen is approximately the size of a dining room tablecloth. However, quality is important as well. It is a good brand name to be called Zeis*. For cleaning/wiping my sunglass and other items, this cloth is a bit big, as well as the fabric on it does not appeal to me. A pair of eyeglasses that block blue light. I use this thick Quality cloth daily to clean my iPhone screen however, which is certainly not a problem for some people for me, I use it to clean my iPad screen. There is a kindle on my nightstand. I find it just a bit too "silky" & am not sure I like it I don't get the same feeling from my sunglasses and other eyeglasses that I get from my glasses when I have that good 'lens clearing' experience.

This lens cloth is excellent
5/5

In the early morning, when the temperature is low enough for all of my eyeglasses, camera, and binoculars to fog up, I find that I need to clean them frequently while birding. Several years ago, after my last trip, I lost my lens cloth I had used for years. Because these cloths are thin, I don't have to worry about them taking up much room in my pocket, and they do not scratch lenses during cleaning. The inexpensive lens cloths are well worth the cost, but you can find better-quality cloths at lower prices.

It would be great if someone made these in the future
5/5

As far as cleaning high-end screens and glasses and high-end optics is concerned, I haven't found a better product. These are the best for restoring high-end screens and lenses, as small cloths do not work and other fiber types have other issues. This one works for all the big lenses and old eye glasses.
