Cleaning the screen is easy with the microfiber cloth because it is soft and cleans effectively. But it is heavily creased, with a disheveled appearance right out of the box. Additionally, the product does not completely cover the laptop as shown in the pictures, so it is not compatible with the new 16 inch MacBook pros. The product advertises compatibility with laptops up to 15/16 inches, but this is not true for the new 16inch MacBook pros. There is a complimentary microfiber cloth that comes along with the product, but it is not worth the price.

I tested closing the lid without the keyboard skin and it did not make any difference, so perhaps the problem is caused by a tiny elevation and protrusion caused by a skin on the trackpad (it is not due to the keyboard skin since I tried closing it without it). With the skin alone, the lid was able to close with minimal difficulty. However, I think the added thickness of the blanket has now made it difficult to close completely with a satisfying sound. I am happy with the product since this little problem is not harmful to the laptop or interferes with the laptop going to sleep. All in all, I am very satisfied with it and glad that I will no longer have to worry about that smudge problem.

Since I have owned Mac laptops, I have always been sure to keep my keyboard covers intact in order to prevent fingerprints from imprinting on the screen (ghosting). As soon as I received my new laptop, I was worried it wouldn't be able to hold a keyboard cover larger than the standard tissue paper the machine came with.
