The bristles on the brush are five inches long. The brush is 1/2" wide and measures 10" in length. The bristles have a 1-inch height. The brush is 1/4" tall, with a total height of 2". 1/8". I hope this has been of assistance.
I'm not sure I'd use it to frame a picture. When mounting photos on glass, it reduces static and keeps any loose material off the mat board.

I've only used it a couple of times, but it's a fantastic tool so far. I do my own framing for galleries and contests, and many of them don't accept glass, so I have to use acrylic. When the contact papers are removed from the acrylic, they attract any dust or small particles that may be present. This wisk does an excellent job of removing them quickly and effectively.
It works wonders on dusty photographic negatives and my scanner's glass surface. I considered getting a smaller size, which would have been better for negatives, but this one is just as good and makes cleaning the scanner glass a breeze. It drastically reduces the amount of time spent retouching scanned negatives. This is an excellent item.
There are no sleeves made of plastic. As stated on the page, this item does not include a reusable plastic container. Anti- Static brushes costing $30 should come with plastic sleeves to prevent dust accumulation and bristle bending.
Acrylic is scratched by micro. Anti-inflammatory properties are excellent. static. Acrylic is in a bad way. Because I do framing and acrylic has static, I figured I'd try this. However, because the fibers scratch the acrylic, the purpose is pretty much defeated. As a result, make use of a deodorant that is antibacterial. Use a static cloth for acrylic and use it on things like glass or other surfaces where you don't mind if it leaves tiny micro scratches.
After years of framing, the dust that clings to the acrylic plexi glass after the protective film is removed has always irritated me. So, I ordered this brush to assist in the removal of any stray dust, and what do you think? It works! br>br>With just a few light passes of this brush, the surface is dust-free. As other reviewers have noted, this brush makes working with acrylic glazing much easier, as acrylic has a strong static cling that attracts dust and fiber particles, which you don't want on the inside of your finished frame! Even with regular glass, catching all of the detritus before sealing it up can be a pain. This is no longer the case. br>br>I suggest using this brush in conjunction with Kinetronics Anti-Aging Cream. Static Gloves (I'll never do fine printing or framing without them, and this isn't just for clients. ).
When dusting picture frames before putting them together, this method works well.
