It flickers on and off, so don't buy it!   To see the problem, first watch the video I posted
3/5

br>br>After reading all of the Amazon reviews for this HDMI cable, I was convinced that almost all HDMI cables are the same. As a result, as long as you get a cable that meets the spec, you should be fine. I'm also very proud of the fact that I was able to build a high-quality home theater at a low cost. I did a lot of research on every component of my system (top-of-the-line 2018 75" Samsung QLED Q8FN, Denon AVR-X1200, Denon AVR-X1200, Denon AVR-X1200, Denon AVR-X1200, Denon AVR Comcast Xfinity cable box 4K XG1v4), S510BT receiver, KEF speakers Imagine my disappointment AND frustration when I finally bit the bullet and purchased this AmazonBasics HDMI cable for my in-home theater system. installation on the wall! Every component was professionally installed by my home theater contractor, and I observed him and his crew the entire time; when we were finished, he said to me, "I'm guessing you'll call me back to replace that Amazon HDMI cable. " " After a few months of putting up with the flickering (as seen in the video), I couldn't stand it any longer and had to replace it. Basically, whenever I watched something in 4K HDR (Netflix, for example) or 1080p, the flickering would begin. It was extremely inconvenient to pay this contractor to return, remove the TV from the wall, and re-install it. Connect the cable to the inside of the wall! br>br>In the end, I decided to purchase an AudioQuest 10' 4K Ultra HD In-Home Theater System. I believe this is a Best Buy exclusive wall HDMI cable; yes, it's more expensive, but guess what? I'm no longer experiencing any flickering. br>br>In conclusion, don't be stingy with your money and invest in high-quality items. AMAZONBASICS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. I believe the review system has been gamified in order for this cable to receive a 4 star rating. 5 out of 5 stars. Also, thank you to Amazon for refusing to let me return this because I had missed their return deadline. To add insult to injury, You should be proud of your company's branded goods!.

For 4K 60fps, a 25-foot cable is sufficient
5/5

I understand how difficult it is to transmit a large amount of data over a long HDMI cable. Although most cables can handle full 1080p full HD, only a few can handle 4K at 25 feet. I didn't expect it to work for 4K signal transmission when I went into this fully aware of the difficulty. However, it worked perfectly for 4K at 60 frames per second. I understand that this isn't a "certified" premium for 4K and that it may be hit or miss. I had a fortunate situation. br>I used the Samsung K8500 UHD blu-ray player to test it. a player for rays The home screen on this player is 4K 60fps, which worked fine when I popped in a couple of 4K Blu-ray discs. 4K blu-ray discs (the majority of 4K blu-ray discs) Because Blu-rays run at 24 frames per second, using an HDMI cable is much easier), and it worked flawlessly. Then I tried it with the Costa Rica 4K 60fps video on YouTube, and it worked as well. I checked the input signal and confirmed the correct input resolution and frame rates for each test by pressing the info button on my TV remote. To summarize, if you're looking for a 4K cable, this is the one to get. It is not guaranteed to work, but it has a good chance of doing so. I was a self-employed individual. I suppose I'm fortunate, but you could be as well. You can always return it if it does not work for you.

I purchased it in 4K with HDR
5/5

The HDMI cable is noticeably thicker than it was eight years ago. one that doesn't support HDR in 4K. Even with ARC (audio return channel) and HDMI control passing through the same 12' cable, this one performs admirably for 4K/HDR. I adore the fact that I only have to connect to the wall through a single cable. mounted TV that receives video from a remote source, sends full surround sound to the receiver, and controls hidden components with the TV remote. The Amazon Basics brand has been a pleasant surprise for me.

The video signal to the Samsung UHD/4k wasn't kept
3/5

This 15' cable worked for 20 minutes in my new Samsung UHD TV setup from 2018. After 30 minutes, my Sony Blu-ray player lost video signal (but not audio). I'm listening to Ray through my Yamaha receiver. This cable was used to connect my Yamaha to my TV. This wire was found to be the culprit after swapping hdmi cables. Multiple HDMI inputs (e. g. HDMI 1, 2, 3), streaming, and DVDs all experienced the same video/audio loss. On the Blu-ray player, there is a power cycling mode. I couldn't use the Blu-ray because I couldn't see the Blu-ray. The picture would then fade back to black after the ray logo had appeared. I wasn't watching anything in 4K. The cable thickness was exceptional - It appeared that the construction was of high quality. br>br>In conclusion, test before installing and be skeptical of this product's ability to work with 4K TVs based on my personal experience and other 1 star reviews.

SONY 4K UHD Blu-ray is not compatible with Amazon's Basic Cable
3/5

Players of the Ray Disc While I've had success using these cables with my Frontier FIOS Cable Box and SONY Blu-ray Player for normal 1080P applications, ray Player connected to my LG 55B8 OLED TV, but these cables do not work with my new SONY UBP-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX X800M2 4K UHD Blu-ray Player X800M2 4K UHD Blu-ray Player Ray is a DVD player. Unfortunately, I have 4 HDMI, 1 USB, and 1 Optical Cable all wired through the wall in a tight bundle for 3 feet. Even though Amazon rates these HDMI cables for in-home use, I believe the shielding on these HDMI cables is insufficient for this type of 4K installation. installation of a wall As a result, an 8K HDMI 2 has been installed. 1 SONY X800M2 Blu-ray player replacement cable ray player to ensure sufficient bandwidth and shielding for my in-house network The system is easy to install on the wall and it works perfectly. Although these Amazon Basic 4K HDMI cables are labeled as 4K, they are clearly insufficient for in-home use. Tightly bundled cables are used in wall installations. Amazon Basics gets a BLUE mark!.

This is a cable that is designed to be used in extreme conditions
5/5

As a result, I'm considering returning the cable. "Wait, why the five stars if you're allowed to return it?" ", you may inquire. My 780 tv required a longer HDMI cable, so I purchased one. "That's a pretty good price for a 25" HDMI," I thought when I saw this one. HECK YEAH! for heavy-duty cable! Let's give Tim Allen a hand with this! It's a heavy-duty cable, to be sure. It's not just a 'heavy duty HDMI,' it's a heavy duty cable in general. It's more substantial than any of my semi-solids. power cable for industrial use It's possible that it's more durable than industrial cable. This is a hefty cable, to say the least. This thing is going to last a long time, I'm sure. However, I will never take this device on a trip (I travel a lot and assumed it would be hackable). I'm guessing it's around 4 or 5 pounds! THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS CABLE! It's possible that I had far more than I required. I definitely received a good value for my money. I don't want to give it up, but it's a beast. Definitely commercial grade, in my opinion. I'm not sure I require such a large cable. That is NOT going into my laptop bag. I'm talking about a pound or two.
