The cable has not yet been updated for the first quarter of We are looking for a 10' that can run 2560x1440 at 144Hz. ?

With this cable, the 6ft one, I wouldn't be able to run 2k at 144hz, but I could run both 1090 and 2k at 120 fps. While it would run some resolutions that might not fit on my extra-wide monitor at 144hz, I would still be able to adjust the contrast. A cable of this quality can outperform a cable of 20 dollars from Best Buy, but a better cable will be required to deliver the quality you're after.

Does this cable allow me to view my monitor at more than 60Hz?

It all depends on the source, the monitor and the resolution of your screen. It supports Display Port revision 1, which is standard for most display ports today. With this, you can stream 1920x1080@240Hz, 2560x1440@165Hz and even go up to

At least 60 Hz must be used for the 10ft
3/5

Unless you are using a monitor that runs at a resolution higher than 60Hz, do not purchase this cable in the 10ft version. flickering issues until I tried a more expensive cable that resolved all of my difficulties.

I tested these cables The display resolution is 2560x1440 at 60 Hz. It works just fine with 2560x1440 @100Hz This image failed to load at 2560x1440 at 144 Hz The 1920x1200 resolution at 59 Hz failed Pick up your order and save yourself the time and money you would normally spend traveling.

The Amazon site says it is certified, while the DisplayPort site says it isn't My 10' version failed to flicker and I had to order a A very important aspect about this cable is that it is not VESA or DisplayPort compliant
3/5

Due to the fact that Amazon places this as VESA certified in its description. As shown on the displayport. org official website, this cable is not included in their list of certified products. *After you purchase this item, you can check out the other offerings we have After connecting it to my Dell S2716DG (1440P@144Hz), which I've had for over a year and have had the original OEM DP cable in use without any issues, I suddenly had screen flickering that seemed like the screen would lose sync. Each few minutes, the sync has to be done again. I did a quick Google search, and it appears this is usually caused by noncertified or low-quality cables. My monitor is now connected to the original cable that came with it. there were no issues.

I am only able to give a general assessment based on the information The cable from Amazon may have been faulty, but Vesa/displayport. org does not list them as an official vendor however, it is better to use genuine cables. As a matter of principle, I support As for these two stars, I gave them to Amazon because they refunded me without asking me to return the cable. If the Accell cable is on the list, I would like to order another to try it. I will come back and order it. In addition, the original OEM DP cable was 6' so I'll update this review when I get the new cable that is on the official certified list. The DP specs state that the max distance is 10'/3M, but how does that differ from So, the 10' cable probably needs a lot more specs to work properly, where as a 6' cable at 1440P@144Hz probably has an easier time. Therefore, this cable may not pose a problem at 3 ft- A 6' cable is fine, but I would not recommend it for 1440P At 10', 4K resolution is available.

It is possible to find better options for a lower price
3/5

It is not possible to run 1440p/144hz on these cables. The flickering would manifest when I turned the cable above 60hz. It was intermittent when it was 85hz, as in a minute or two. I needed to restart in safe mode on more than one occasion while it was running at 100hz, 120hz or 144hz, as it was constant and challenging to use. Recently, I received a copy of GearIT 2 Pack of 10 foot gold-plated DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable for $21 that does not cause a problem when you run it at 144hz and 1440p. Therefore, since a cheaper item has a much better performance and construction, I am unable to rate this as a one star item.

Please note that 1440p 144hz is NOT Amazon's claim that this cable is DP1 is proving to be incorrect despite claims from users to the contrary and the claims of other users
3/5

AMD RX580 was not able to output 144hz 1440p from a cable that's DVI-D certified for the most recent version of the card. We swapped it for the shorter stock cable and everything worked fine, proving that the cable was the cause of the failure. Additionally, as other reviews have mentioned, this cable is FAR thicker than any other DP cable I've ever seen, to the point that I struggled to work with it, and does not contain any clips to securely attach to the port. Overall, very disappointing. I have returned this item for a refund and will get a different cable soon. All the other Amazon Basics products I have used have delivered as expected – thank you. We have no idea why this one didn't work. You should definitely avoid it unless you're intending to stay below 60 Hz.

Despite its reliability, it's bulky and unreliable
3/5

As a result, the cable does not stay seated in the connector because it lacks locking pins. Furthermore, the plastic housing around the connector is quite large, which could cause a problem with some devices. For example, it barely fits within my PC graphics card. Due to the lack of locking pins, it The cable is thick and bulky as well. The bottom line is that it's not a deal breaker Firstly, it is complicated to route inside cable management channels or monitor arms on its own.

For 4k, 10 foot is not an appropriate height
3/5

To connect my new Dell 28" 4K display, I bought the 10 foot version of this cable. Unfortunately, it didn't work very well when running in 4K at 60Hz. A few times a minute, or a few times every few minutes, the screen would flicker. (but not ideal) When I ran it at 30 Hz, it worked fine. We replaced it with a 6 foot cable and everything seems to be working fine now.

Don't do it! Although it might work, it is likely not going to work and there are cheaper and better options on the market
3/5

This cable was purchased to replace a stock cable that was too short. This cable did not have the clips I'm used to seeing on other DP cables, but the shorter stock cable I was replacing also did not. Initial installation of the display resulted in a black screen. It came up for a short while after some wiggling, but then it went black, and I couldn't see it anymore. I tried fiddling with it just a little, but it seemed the terminals were not seating up precisely. There were two cables going to monitors that felt loose, and the other one going to the GPU felt like it would not fully insert (the plastic housing on the terminals feels very The Amazon refund process went smoothly and I purchased this item in the end

GearIT's DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable is gold plated for 10 feet I installed this 4K Resolution Ready (DP to DP Cable) Black and it worked flawlessly from the start.

This cable does not have retention clips, and it is very bulky
3/5

This is a warning. There is a lot of cable in this cable. As much as I am sure it provides good shielding for a longer cable (15' in this instance), it can't be used when the cable needs to be tucked within a cramped raceway or tucked within the cable management system of an articulated One of the bigger problems with this cable is it does not have the retention clips specified in the DisplayPort standard. All they rely on is friction to keep them in place! As soon as the cable connects to a port that has a vertical configuration (the connector faces up), gravity will pull the cable away.
