Product Description

Camera Mic Level In Cable for Sescom Line Out
A mini TRS 3 audio jack is commonly found on professional DSLR cameras for stereo mic level audio inputs. Plug a 5mm jack into the computer.
Using this method, manufacturers are able to save valuable space on the interface of the camera.
There has been a trend for several years now to create devices that output different line level audio signals, such as Sony's PCMD50 and Samson's Zoom H4N, which can record in high quality.
You can avoid any need to use bulky XLR type attenuators that can damage your expensive camera's mic input connector by using these tiny cables that provide the proper mic levels and preserve the delicate contacts inside the camera's microphone. There is such a thing as an L Pad attenuator in this cable, which reduces Professional Line Level output (+4dBu) to the level of the camera mic input sweet spot. Cable impedance is designed to be as small as possible for maximum voltage transfer and low noise.

Questions & Answers

It is OK to use any 3 of them. What are the options for extending this with a stereo aux cable? Do I need to connect it to the Zoom HG5 to use it?

Since it is a cable for attenuation, the answer is yes. As a result The Zoom H6 parameter is An attenuation cable is used to reduce noise It's a woman A female converter is available here You can also use the cable * Remember, regardless of what device you use, be sure the signal chain between them will work correctly. To prevent noise contamination, make sure that the attenuation cable is the only one If you want to, you can make sure all connections are gold plated, but it's not a requirement. The attenuation cable alone can be used in an A/B test the attenuation and aux cable can then be added, and the difference compared with the attenuation and aux cable alone can be seen on the audio spectrograph software (i.e. A DAW, such as Audacity, or similar program). Congratulations on your new setup! We hope you enjoy it if you like it.

What is the compatibility of this cable with the ?

It is true. A cable with an attenuator is basically what it is. It's hard to understand why they label a certain product with the label. In the past, I've used it on a Tascam DR70D, but now I'm using

Tascam DR-100 works with this program Does 44WL also apply to you?

This method works with anything whose third number is There is a 3mm output and needs to be connected to a 5mm output. An input of 5mm is required.

Please let me know if compatibility with any mobile device is offered, such as an android or an iphone. Thanks. ?

I don't think so. Please take note of the 3-pin connectors on this cable Most smartphones are powered by a 4-conductor plug This is a plug for conducting current. If the phone has the appropriate pin configuration, maybe it will work. But from my experience (as I haven't tried it), my guess is that it won't work. The product works well in a different configuration and I recommend it generally, considering that I use it in a different configuration.

You can go from being too hot to being just right! Before presenting to a video camera used to record and live stream church services, a line level send from a Yamaha mixer had to be tamed
5/5

As the mixer output signal is balanced mono, and I'm pretty sure the camera mic input is unbalanced mono, I don't see the benefit of using this cable, but in certain situations or cameras, it could be beneficial. With the output fader set to unity gain, I should be able to set it fairly close. I would say it is pretty much on target when it comes to A signal overdriven or faded at the lowest position is definitely worse because faders are logarithmically tapered, the same amount of travel here (down low) makes a bigger difference in decibels than it would at zero/unity, for example. As a result of adding this cable, it appears that the sound quality is not impacted. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but I'm not going to drive a mere block to go buy one if I can avoid it. The book I found on Amazon was exactly what I was looking for. This week's update In the meantime, I have switched from a digital XR to This mixer has an 18 volt motor. Livestream mixes fed via an aux cable still require the cable, but they work just as well. In the future, the sound will go directly to the PC using Open Broadcast Software, rather than having to go through the camera first. Due to OBS's input controls, you should be able to remove the cable from the path when this happens. As long as livestreaming is taken seriously as the new norm, this cable will grow to be very useful, simple, and efficient over time. The whole experience was worth it in the end.

I had a problem with mine, but it was a great product
4/5

is great in its own right. With this cable I can use mics and other audio equipment without having to worry about the terrible white noise the GH4 is infamous for (I love the camera by the way). In fact, there is no way that it would work if the plug were to move when plugged in and I had to touch the plug towards the socket to get it to stop hissing.
In order to proceed, we must address the following By now it has been sold by a different seller who I bought it from. (I was referred by Kellards to Amazon since the order had been fulfilled by Amazon) C. I contacted the previous seller (Kellards), which responded very quickly. After I returned the item, Amazon immediately issued me a gift card to use instead I'd like to use this coupon to buy it again in the future.

A Tascam DR-100 is in my possession It is comparable to the Canon 70D and the Somewhere between the devices, a terrible hiss could be heard. In the past several months, I've learned about these cables through a YouTube video that explained to me how to lower the hiss, and I'd say that these are helping to reduce about 90% of the hissing noise, while possibly able to eliminate it all with further If you want to help reduce nose wrinkles after having a low-arched nose, this is a worthy investment The cables should be of good quality.

A problem that had been stubborn has been fixed
5/5

The client I work with says I must use their small audio recorder if there is a problem with his overmodulated audio from a mixing board. I fixed it for him. The warranty for the mixing board I had just purchased had just expired, and I thought it was broken and looking into purchasing a replacement. I would definitely buy again if the need arises. I highly recommend it!.

Don't let your guard down
3/5

When the part arrived, it did not match the picture but had the right part number. Having a job to complete can't permit me to put it off returning it, so I'll find a way to do it. There may be a rt. angle connector on one end of the part you receive.

There is only one product on the market that converts live level into mic level, and it A digital product which converts a line level signal to a mic level signal is the only one I've found everywhere
5/5

For recording video of live concerts with CD-quality audio, I use this to send an audio input from my audio interface directly to the mic input on a camcorder The audio is of good quality. I like it a lot! Make sure you get an extension cable that is properly shielded if you try the same thing. (I got cheap extension cable, and it did not work due to this reason).

I needed exactly what you told me
5/5

The audio recorder on my Nikon camera is connected to the Tascam audio recorder. It still works great in 2020, despite having been purchased in 2016. My experience with it has never been a problem.
