There is no D-SLR in the Canon T6i The device cannot tap any power inputs or outputs, so by itself it has no effect. A kit with this could be useful, but you'd have to add a battery and a dummy battery on top, as well.

It was my expectation that this would be a temporary solution and I might have to buy the official version at some point, but after a year I've had no problems with it and it's still running smoothly. I'll definitely buy a new one if the old one breaks. The product is fantastic!.
All my drives were in good condition I have had no issues so far with tap cables. As well as being long enough, the cable is also of good quality. To make it easier to Velcro, I attached it to the back of my shirt It's great to have four open ports now that I've mounted the plate.
I find that it works well and am confident in In order to power my camera and monitor, I am running DTP from Antons. It mounts easily with Velcro and I am confident about the connection.
Although it would have been great to have a thicker cable, it is still an excellent choice for the price.
