That cord held together for so long - I'm not sure how it did it Approximately 2 years. hadn't realized the garage door opener cord had such a tight fit, as a 1 inch piece of the cord was crushed flat! However, this one works just as well! I thought I needed an extension cord that looked like mine without the plug, but it provided everything I needed! Within seconds of plugging it in, I received an instant notification. This cord fits into the camera plug snugly due to the weather and outdoor environment, so I am not sure it would be good to use a regular cord lying around. We had no problems placing the order or receiving the In the event that my other camera fails, I will definitely reorder. Product is of high quality.
The cable from the camera above the garage door to the garage door opener was very easy to run, stapled and plugged in next to the garage door. I like to have the camera above the garage door to have a view of the driveway and front yard. In case of an emergency, I did plug in a little APC surge protector. Exactly what I was looking for!.
The reason for this is not clear however, the product appears to be inadequate. The Zmodo security cameras we purchased from Amazon are pretty good. All of the cameras were fine with the 2 power cords provided, but the cords were short. A woman who stands 5 feet 3 inches (maybe 3 feet). It was helpful to have these 20' USB power cords so that the cameras could be installed where they would be needed. We assumed, at the time of purchase, that since voltage, amp, input, and output were the same, that we would be able to use them without any trouble. purchased several other products in an attempt to resolve the issue that we thought was due to the camera. However, we are now aware that it is the product that caused the cameras to not work It took a week for us to realize the issue and now we cannot return the product. Please save your money! We do not usually leave reviews, but we are now past the return date specified by Amazon and therefore cannot return the product. It is likely that this product will not correctly transfer power to any USB device after doing some research.
I've never had any problems with them! It never occurred to me to turn off my cameras. This was something I was concerned about since longer cords can sometimes affect how the devices perform.
This cord got me back up and running with my Drop Cam Pro that I bought back in 2013 (or close to that). Anyhow, my camera kept going offline. I bought this cord and the camera is now working There's a really long cord on this one.
It is intended to be used with two Wyze cameras that are outdoors. Thanks for the extra length, it works well! We have not had any issues so far after a few.
In spite of our attempts, we have been unable to get these cables to work right with our cameras. Nothing works with the cables even though we tried other items. Nothing happens when the power goes out. The product is terrible, and the money spent on it was wasteful.
