These batteries are almost half the price of GoPro's official batteries. In my experience, they work well with GoPro My transaction with Tanaka Inc was troublesome, but they resolved it and showed excellent professionalism towards my customer service and satisfaction efforts. is a great product to own if you want to have more run time on your gopro and if you do not want to spend almost twice as much on batteries for your go pro. Battery choices like these are excellent. I recommend them.
Several of you are in the same boat. Due to the recent GoPro software update, I had issues with replacing the batteries after/around the time of the update. The fully enclosed case and spare batteries allowed me to have more time when filming. I was very pleased with the response and prompt handling of my issue by the company. You can also return it hassle free if it does not meet your expectations within 12 months of purchase. It is enough to know that this is a solid company that stands behind its product.
In addition, I find these battery packs to be very convenient. There are three of them, and they can be charged simultaneously through a cute little case that powers on using a USB cable A USB cable with C connectors.
Although we went out in the mountains to do little ski adventures, we never ran out of batteries. The tab they provide on top of each battery makes it easy to attach the batteries to the charging case and take them out when you are done. This is an exact replacement for GP batteries, though they're imperfect.
It seems to work much better now after I received replacement batteries from their customer service (08/13/21). Let's hope they don't run out of money. They are very good at trying to correct the situation no matter what their customer service says. They were all charged up by me. After a couple of days, I didn't use any. One was around 45% when I put it in. A second one (roughly 1/2) is inserted and the same thing happens. Would you consider this normal for this type of battery? so, then that is bad, if not, then I would say there's something wrong with.
I find it to be convenient and small. Each of my children would run off with my batteries if I set them down anywhere, so I was able to charge the batteries while they were stowed away. The charge is fairly fast so by the time I need an additional battery I have something else at my disposal. If I had to buy it again, I would definitely buy it.
I also like that the lid snaps shut so it's easy to transport the charger and batteries. It does take a standard C charger, but I could not get it to charge with my Samsung phone charger. It probably needed to be recharged at a slower current, so I used a slower charger, and it worked fine. Traditionally, a blue light would appear near the c-cord input and 3 red lights would appear on the front for each battery which would eventually turn green when It looks like every part of the product is made with high quality materials. I found these batteries to be much cheaper than the original GoPro batteries, and great value for the money spent.
REYTRIC Hero 9 Replacement Batteries seem to hold a full charge longer than my usual GoPro batteries since they seem to loose full charge seemingly over night. The only con I could see would be that storing the batteries in the charger seems to drain them, which would be a problem for compact storage because the connections would be touching, however if the lid were designed to allow the batteries to be flipped over you could store the batteries.
To reduce the time it would take to recharge dead batteries, I needed to purchase some spare batteries and an additional charger. After considering this product for a while, I decided to try it out. I'm extremely happy with the The replacement batteries I've been using are identical to the ones I've been using with my GoPro camera. There seems to be little difference in the charge held by either device, and the charging time is approximately the same. A lid closes on this charger, which makes it even more appealing. An issue with a battery not being inserted correctly or falling out is not a concern. Furthermore, I find it to be a handy charging device when traveling because the batteries can remain in the charger almost like a case while on the move. The additional portable charger allows me to quickly and conveniently recharge dead batteries while out on the water or hiking if required. I find my bag to be more organized I am now able to charge my phone when out on the water or hiking. Excellent purchase. I'm very happy with it.
