The EL15c has a capacity of 2280mAh, while the other three (EN-A, EN-B, and EN-C) have capacities of 1000mAh EL15, EN- EN-EL15a and EL15a are two different types of EL15a. All of the EL15b batteries have a capacity of 1900 mAh. Chinese knockoffs, such as DSTE, have a higher capacity of 2550mAh, but they frequently fail.
If it looks exactly like the picture, it's a genuine Nikon battery. "Cell:" is written on the back. manufactured in Japan; in China to be further processed" I'm not sure what that means, but I'm assuming Nikon owns the "guts" and the shell and final assembly are made in China.
Yes, it's a complete success. I've recently acquired a new EN- The ELc that came with my Z7ii was tested on my D7500 just now. There were no issues at all. I'm not sure why the other respondent had a different experience.

Capacity is enormous. For my Z6, this is fantastic: For evening sunset shots, I only use about a third of the charge.
EL15 and holds a charge for a longer period of time. I was in need of an EN- A spare EL15 battery is also available. The EN- The EL15 costs around $100, while the newer, longer-lasting EN-EL15 costs around $200. My Nikon D750 can use the EL15C, which costs $78. One word of caution: don't expect to be able to charge the EN- In older cameras, the EL15C can be accessed through the USB port. Make use of the Nikon MH- series of cameras. When you get your package, double-check that it's compatible! Even though the description says it's compatible with Z7 (as of Nov 3, 2021), I bought it in April and just unpacked it today for a trip, and my Nikon says it's not (see photo). Now that I'm past the return window, I have no choice but to throw it in the recycling bin.
For the price, it's a fantastic battery. It's always a good idea to have a back-up plan in place. OEM equipment, in general, has proven to be the best.
I recommend only using Nikon products and not aftermarket batteries because you will save money but be disappointed when you see how quickly they die.
The battery in this camera is larger than the one that came with it. It will enable me to use my auto focus lens and other accessories to take more photos. I tried some third-party batteries, but they weren't as powerful as the originals. This one is more expensive, but it is well worth the investment.
