Despite the fact that EN- is a valid option, EN-EL15 and EN-EL15 are two terms that are used interchangeably. Only the new 15b version of the EL15a batteries can be charged while inside the camera in the new Nikon Z7 and upcoming Z6 cameras. Simply plug in a USB C power adapter rated at 5 volts and 3 amps. When fully charged, the EL15b provides enough power for 330 shots on a Z7, but early tests indicate that it is usually sufficient for an all-day shoot. A full day of shooting. Nonetheless, having two extra batteries makes me feel safer, and I enjoy being able to charge both at the same time - One is in the camera, and the other is in the MH-II. 25a plug- in the charger that came with the Z7 br>br>Anyone purchasing a Nikon Z series camera should also purchase at least one additional EN-EL15 battery. To ensure enough power for a long day of shooting, use an EL15b battery.
The only reason I bought it was because I couldn't find a reliable third-party Nikon battery. If I ever get around to it. This is the last one I'll ever buy. In this case, Nikon is abusing its customers.
Four- For the money factor, I give it five stars. It's a Nikon, so it'll be pricey, but I spent 8 days in the Caribbean shooting over 1,200 images with two of these (1 in camera and 1 in the battery pack) in a Nikon D7100, and they were still going strong when I got home. They come highly recommended.
Two batteries should be available. With a Nikon Z6/7 mirrorless camera, I believe a second battery is a must. The camera's control, ergonomics, and high-quality results will inspire you to push yourself, be more creative, try new things, and take a lot more pictures. When you're on a roll, why limit yourself to just one battery?.
One of my issues with Amazon purchases is the expectation that everything must have instant reviews, and that sellers should be praised simply for being responsible. I frequently buy extras and do not open packages until they are required. Proprietary camera batteries are an example of such a product. Hey! It's a Nikon camera, and Nikon-branded batteries have proven to be reliable over time. That's all I have to say on the subject. In their boxes, the batteries remain untouched. 35 years ago, I was apprehended with my Canon, having chartered a single-engine aircraft. For some aerial filming, I used an engine prop. During take-off, the battery had to die. off. That is something I will never repeat.
Make sure you buy your battery from a reputable retailer. The one I got is identical to the one that came with my Z6 and the second one I received from BHPhoto last year. The Amazon battery is a genuine product. br>br>In my Z6, these batteries work perfectly. I misplaced one on a hike in the Smoky Mountains, and I really need two for the types of trips I take. On a couple of occasions, I was able to get 3000 photos on a single charge while shooting BIFs with one of these batteries. It's a mix of photos and video, so it's more like 800-words. 1000 images and 30 minutes of video The video is 40 minutes long and is shot in 4K. There will be enough for the majority of trips. I'm hoping this is the last time I lose. br>br>I had no noticeable decline in battery life after a year on the original and second batteries I purchased at the time of camera purchase; they were as strong as they were on day one. The only time I noticed a slight drop in performance was when it was cold outside. I'm referring to temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Even then, the batteries provided sufficient battery life; the camera began to malfunction, but the batteries remained strong. br>br>These batteries are pricey, but they work well. I'd make another purchase.
I was looking for replacement batteries for my Nikon Z cameras. The price and value of this purchase were exceptional. EN- I found the older EN-EL15b for the same price as the EL15b. On Amazon and other websites, you can find EL15a. As a result, I went ahead and purchased it. The EN- With the Nikon Z bodies, the EL15b can be used to charge in-body. I usually use chargers, but it's nice to have the option of charging on the go, such as in the car or while traveling.
EL15b battery, which is compatible with all Nikon cameras that use the EN-EL15b version. EL batteries are a type of battery. It is, without a doubt, costly. Although it is possibly overpriced, it performs admirably and is extremely dependable, making it a must-have for anyone who uses their cameras professionally. I've tried cheaper, 3rd party batteries in the past while shooting thousands of photos during marathon races, and I've had terrible luck with them, as they fail far too frequently. Despite their high cost, Nikon batteries are extremely reliable and will get you through those difficult, time-sensitive photo shoots.
