I must use the battery for my Ring doorbell, as I am sure many others do. Basically, all you have to do is swap out the used battery for a freshly charged one, and it will charge as it comes out of the adapter. The bag also contains a charging cable and an AC adapter (believe it or not, not so long ago we didn't have to specify these things). That the battery is held securely in place and that I can charge two batteries simultaneously is a big plus. It has been a pleasure working with you. My laptop had two slots for charging I could only get the battery into one of them The battery was not charging 12 hours after being plugged in. This charger ended up destroying my Ring Battery by not properly fitting it into the charging slot because I didn't force it into place.
DO NOT BUY this device from anyone selling it on Amazon, as it is a POS that will damage.

I have been satisfied thus far with the functionality of the Ring Dual Port Charging for Ring Video Doorbell. Our spot lights are powered by two batteries. Although I'm not sure how much faster it would be than the regular usb cords, it does eliminate the need for two. One thing that may need to be improved is the lights that indicate whether the battery is charged are located in the middle between the two batteries, so if you are charging two batteries at once, it may be a bit harder to see than if the lights were on the sides.

The original is somewhere in the house but I don't remember where. While we have had a few issues with this, it has worked fine. It first stopped charging overnight when I put it on the charger and by morning, it was still not charging when I put it back into the Ring.
