The Sony a7S3 appears to be using the same NP-Federation as the Sony a7S2. It stands for FZ100, which indicates that it is compatible.
Approximately 3 to 4 hours of full charge There are four hours remaining.
Yes! Keep in mind that this charger is a little slower than the OEM or even the built-in charger, but being able to charge two batteries overnight is a game changer for me. I still have the OEM on hand in case I need to charge it quickly.

The Charging light indicator displays a graphical representation of the charging process, allowing you to see how much charge is left in the battery. The only possible flaw is that the charger isn't a fast or rapid charger, and it uses a micro USB cable rather than an AC plug, which can be a plus or a disadvantage. The construction is of excellent quality.
When I go on my next trip, I'll use FZ100 batteries because they're reliable and don't take up too much space in my backpack. Other brands are available, but I'm not sure if they're trustworthy. I decided to get one because Neewer is a brand that I am familiar with. And I'm content. It's extremely compact and light. It didn't come with its own USB cable, but who needs one when you have a dozen on hand? You can also do it with a power bank, though I imagine it will take a long time to charge. The charger also has a small display that shows the status of each battery's charging, which is convenient. Overall, this is a useful camera bag accessory.
Even two batteries would take four hours to charge, but the camera's charger charges one battery in less than two hours. As a result, the situation is unresolved. 4 hours with 2 batteries one at a time and 4 hours with 2 batteries at the same time.
I'm a stickler for buying manufacturer-name batteries, but Sony's charger is way out of my price range. So far, the Neewer charger appears to charge in the same manner as the Sony, freeing up my body from having to charge the camera. I've had no problems with the batteries on this charger so far, and I've purchased a second one so that I can have a charging station in both my studio and my car.
It's a fantastic piece of writing. I like the charge indicator, and the micro USB and USB-C ports are both convenient. The charge connection is C. It's a little slimmer than the Wasabi-style ones, and it can charge two phones at once, but you'll need a wire and adapter to plug it into a wall. That doesn't bother me because those things are always handy for phones, and it makes traveling easier. br>br>(The Sony wall adapter shown is not included; it was included with the camera. ).
With the battery grip, I have a Sony a7iii camera body. It's so convenient to be able to remove one battery and charge it while the camera's other battery remains in place. In 1 hour, this charger charged one of my batteries from 67% to 100% . It's a lot faster than plugging the cord into the camera, which is what I used to have to do. I strongly advise you to purchase this charger.
This charger is lighter in weight and more compact than it appears in the picture. It can be charged almost anywhere because it uses any USB power source; 110 VAC is not required. When I travel, I find that being able to charge two batteries is critical because if I arrive at my hotel late in the day with a couple of dead batteries, I may have to wake up in the middle of the night if I only have a charger that can charge one battery at a time.
I assumed this order had gone missing because it took so long to arrive, and Amazon had already refunded me a long time before it arrived. In the end, I believe it was lost in NZ post, most likely after a quick international journey. br>Anyway, the unit works great; I've never tried charging two batteries because modern Sony packs already have a large capacity; it charges quickly with a good USB adaptor and USBC cable; and the battery status is clearly displayed. br>Exactly what should come as standard with a new $NZ3500 camera! It's great to see that budget items can still fill this void, and I highly recommend this unit.
