br>I purchased this because I had purchased a Neewer light (links below) that did not include a battery pack. I'm not sure why Neewer did this, but I'm glad they included two batteries rather than just one. I'm just starting my own YouTube channel and need to film for several hours at a time; having extra batteries also allows me to go out and film in locations where there isn't an outlet to get a better shot. I've got a camera, and I'm going to use it. Genaray's top video light, which I purchased about six years ago. I use the light on a regular basis, and I recently used it on a video shoot. only to discover that the battery worked for a few minutes before dying. The Sony NP-FZ50 battery was used. Knock-off F550 It was a low-cost battery with a Genaray label on it in this case. Because the light only came with one battery, I went on the hunt for a replacement and came across this Neewer kit, which included two batteries, a charger, and a USB cable that allows you to plug the charger into any USB power source. br>br>Both of the batteries included in this Neewer kit work perfectly in my Genaray light and last a long time. g time - I found exactly what I was looking for. Both Neewer batteries have a capacity of 2600 mAh, which is significantly higher than the 2200 mAh of the original Genaray (and Sony NP-FZ1) batteries. Batteries (F550) have a rating. The charger has a USB port on its side. Most cell phones use this connector, so if you're anything like me, you'll have at least a half-dozen of them. There were a dozen of these cellphone chargers strewn about the place. In my house, I also have a small counter that serves as a "charging counter. " "I installed a wall outlet with two USB ports, and I usually plug the Neewer charger into one of them. That is exactly what I needed. But I like that the charger and cable I use for my phone and tablet are also the charger and cable I need to re-charge. Neewer batteries should be charged. Simply put, that is a clever design. It's worth noting that this Neewer kit doesn't include a USB charger. It only comes with a cable to connect to a USB charger that you must provide. That's fine by me because I have a plethora of USB chargers. br>br>I've only had these Neewer batteries and charger for a few weeks, but they've completely restored my camera's functionality. It has such a convenient charger system and has given me the versatility of having two batteries (rather than just the one original battery). This Neewer dual-purpose tool comes highly recommended by me. Kit with battery and charger. It's an excellent deal.

I've had a couple of Neewer hot shoe LED panels for a while now, and I used to load them with old camcorder batteries until they finally died. After tinkering with a slew of AAs, I switched to these and haven't looked back. They charge quickly and hold their charge for a reasonable amount of time, without the hassle of AA batteries. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> 6/18/2020br>I gave these batteries a five-star rating when I first received them. I had to change it, unfortunately. I don't use these lights very often these days, so I tried to turn one on about 6 months ago and it wouldn't turn on. So I charged it overnight and gave it another shot the next day. It remained perfectly flat. No worries, I figured I must have done something wrong because the second battery still worked fine. Fast forward to last week. The light worked fine with the battery, so I put it away after my session. The following day, there was no power. I figured it might just be dead, so I left it to charge overnight once more. Nothing when I woke up the next day. As a result, both batteries have died. I even considered it possible that it was one of my lights (I have two), so I double-checked the batteries in both lights and found nothing. They both work well with AA batteries. br>br>It's a pity. Over the course of three years, I got maybe four or five uses out of these batteries.

All of that is gone with this dual slot. This is a huge improvement over my single-battery wall charger. Because it's USB compatible, I can charge them in my car or on my portable charger while I'm at work. So I never have to worry about running out of battery power; they charge quickly and last for entire sessions, so I never have to stop shooting to swap them out. These aid in keeping me and my clients on track and productive.

My initial thought was that replacing this would be costly. Thankfully, I was able to find these for a reasonable price on here; they were nearly dead when they arrived, so it took about a day to fully charge them. The batteries haven't given me any problems so far, and they last a long time.
