It's ideal for applications that don't require a lot of stress

This is a multi-gauge thin gauge wire. Strand wires are acceptable as long as they do not move around excessively. If they do break off at the device end of the connection, resoldering is relatively simple. If you're buying these, you'll almost certainly have to solder them anyway, so it's not a huge deal.

Instead of an end feed, this adapter uses a side feed 9v battery cap. This cap is a little thicker than the leather-covered caps, but it is also more durable. The leads are prewtinned for soldering, making them ideal for small projects and repairs.
