I almost got it right, Above we mentioned that these connectors are high quality and that they are 100 percent Docked 1 star because of the "one size fits all" approach regarding the metal connector cup that is large enough to accept 2 AWG cable but does not work for people using 4 and 6 gauge cable as there is not enough room in the connector to comfortably accommodate the much larger 2 In my first attempt to crimp my first connector to my #4 AWG cable, I managed a decent fit, but not particularly happy with it and there's no way to fold it back onto itself to fill the large space in the connector cup as suggested by the seller. The next connector went on nicely (look on YouTube for "flood solder Anderson connector" for the correct and easy way to solder them) and I was pleased with the result. A 5-star rating would probably be appropriate For those using cable with 2AWG, this product is an excellent choice, while for those using cable with 4AWG- Crimping is a waste of time. It is likely that you will need to solder the connectors to the board. It's hard to tell if #6 AWG plugs into #6 connector cups, but possibly it will fit if the cable is doubled up, then inserted? I've got good news for you. As is the metal connector, the plastic body is tough and sturdy. It would be nice if the supplier offered them in specific sizes for #2, #4, and #6 gauge wire as opposed to the overall gauge. The cable is only a perfect fit for #2 AWG cables when it is made in a "one size fits all" style.

This cable is for connecting the 48 volt battery pack in my riding mower to an inverter. I trust the current and voltage ratings (120%, 600V) of the AITM connectors because the housings are clearly marked with the UR monogram and the supplied contacts have a good quality (probably Anderson). Connections of the same color fit together, but those of different colors won't have the same function since they use different keys. As a match to the existing wiring, I have grey connectors for connecting the battery pack and the mower wiring harness. Blue connectors are being used for the inverter, which will be wired with its own fuse.
