There is no need to replace the cable with this one Alive and well at 2535M. This cable has been in my possession for a few months now. The old car adapter that I bought three years ago wasn't working, and that was the second one since purchasing the TomTom Go Live 2535. Since the traffic reports require a special adapter, they are not functional. The cable worked perfectly as soon as it was delivered to me. Three months later, I am experiencing the same problem. There will be no charge left in the unit. The next time I determine what is causing this latest problem, I will share my findings with you. A bad rechargeable battery is what I think is causing the problem.
