Does it have a microchip? Using this unit with a Tom Tom GPS allows it to attach to the MINI USB port. There is no way to attach it to a Micro USB port, the most common port today. As a replacement for the appropriate GPS, it is excellent.

The unit is equipped with a standard plug on the bottom. Its model number is 55TM I'm not familiar with it But it also works perfectly with my XXL540M and XXL540TM units if that's any help.
A USB connection should power it it should be a standard device. It is not clear if the 350 has live traffic, that is why the device has an antenna built in.

As of January 2018, this Tomtom traffic receiver/power cable is listed as "Used-", The condition is excellent. It is in mint condition. It appeared that the insulation on the power/antenna cables had been ripped in three places, leaving exposed copper conductors. It was impossible to see the detail of the hard plastic parts because they were looked to me as if it was made for dogs or cats. The solution did work, however. I do not think "perfect" or "excellent" are good enough for me. It would be generous to call it "fair" condition because of the split insulation. Although the metal nut that holds the fuse in the power plug was the same size as the cheap plastic nut that had broken on my original Tomtom traffic receiver, there was one important difference. In replacement for the plastic nut on my original unit, I used the metal nut on this unit and now I can use my original unit again. My junk parts drawer was emptied of the rest of the one I just purchased. As I stated above, I would have returned the purchased item if the nut had not been compatible with my original unit.
The new one worked perfectly! My TomTom is now fully functional.
To add to my set of travel tools (GPS, compass, etc. ), I was delighted with this cord. On a previous cord I owned the spring loaded metal contact tip broke off when the cigarette lighter plug was moved (It has been known to mysteriously break). In addition, mobile maps are offering traffic information based on cell phone, so the utility of this cord has diminished. Nonetheless, it is a good backup and convenient for travelers If you need to use your phone but can't, it's there when you need it.

The 71 was closed somewhere between Westerville and Columbus. I glanced at the suggested route again, and it sent me from Columbus to the east side of Cincinnati via Dayton. I followed my GPS this time, but I knew better. I checked the address and it put me on the east side of Cincinnati through Dayton. The fact that I ignored your bad advice saved me another 30 minutes of time. I've never had such issues with the normal and humble charger for the TomTom, so after I got home I threw this charger away and went back to the worn-out Could it be faulty?
