The presentation is a little different, but it fits and works. When you plug in the connector, be careful because if it's not done correctly, one of the pins in the connector on the circuit board in the GPS could bend. Also, this battery does not include a piece of double-sided tape. To keep the new battery in place, use double-sided tape. The original battery was held in place by a very thin tape. In the end, I had to resort to using double-sided tape. 1/16" thick double-sided "thin" foam tape, which was about the right thickness. Find something that resembles the original tape as closely as possible. My battery indicated that it was fully charged, and the GPS now functions as if it had never been used before. It will take some time to see how well the battery works. I'd give it a 5-star rating because it appears to be a good deal at a reasonable price. If the mounting tape had been included, it would have received five stars.

I was able to bring a dead GPS back to life. This was purchased to replace a dead (could not hold a charge) battery in a 10-year-old computer. year- Garmin Nuvi 255W GPS, which is no longer in use. The new battery came in an "Olympia" box rather than a Titan box, but who cares? Every single one of them is manufactured in China. It was a perfect match, and the GPS was back up and running in no time. Hooray! We'll see how long the battery lasts (some reviewers claim it'll only last a few hours). I received this today and was surprised to find an Olympia battery instead of a Titan when I opened the small box. The box had been renamed "Titan replacement" and given a new bar code. The advertisement claims an unlimited warranty, and I'm not sure if this company, which does not have an address, will honor that in a few years. The last battery I had was an Olympia and it only lasted two years, which is why I was looking for a different brand; I'll keep it and install it and hope for the best because it's too much trouble to return it and wait for another of comparable quality. The price is reasonable given the high quality I've come to expect from Chinese electronics.
My Garmin Nuvi 265W GPS got a new lease on life thanks to this battery. It took some gentle prying with a flat jeweler's screwdriver to get the body open. The main circuit board was held in place by four screws that had to be removed once the box was opened. The battery was glued to the body of the GPS and was hidden beneath the circuit board. It was once again dislodged by gentle prying. Everything else was reassembled in the reverse order after the new battery was installed with a dab of rubber cement. On the new battery, the GPS will last for about 2 hours.
I couldn't figure out why my Garmin kept turning itself off. Then it occurred to me that the problem could be caused by the battery. I purchased this battery and replaced the old one. It worked perfectly. My Garmin has been restored to working order. To remove the shell, I strongly advise using a T5 screwdriver. On Amazon, I placed an order for one.
