The battery works fine, but the tools are a bit flimsy.
My Garmin is compatible with this device. I've never heard of a Dezl and have never seen one. Best of luck to you!

The thing I didn't consider when I bought the Nuvi with lifetime map updates was that the battery would not last forever, so when it finally failed to hold any charge, I was relieved to discover that I could do a DIY refurbishment. It was a simple and painless procedure. A you- To make sure I didn't make any mistakes, I watched a YouTube video. Everything is in good order. br>br>There was no two-sided tape included in the kit to secure the battery. If you're worried about that, make sure you get some before you start. I didn't think it was necessary because the battery fit snugly in the space and I couldn't feel or hear any movement of the battery in the GPS after reassembling it. If that happens, I'll open it up again and tape the battery in place. Why am I still using a GPS that is more than ten years old (or older)? The maps are updated twice a year, so they are always up to date. With all of the new construction, this baby is well-versed in the area. My car's navigation systems aren't nearly as up to date as yours. When I'm visiting new places, I use both systems at the same time. When I'm not sure which way to go, I'll take the old Nuvi's route.
Replacement batteries for my RV 770 (as opposed to the Nuvi 770 or the Dezl 770) are nearly impossible to come by. Three times the cost, with a month-to-month subscription. long delays in shipping! So here's what I came up with: The tools are useful on the back cover (who has such a small Torx driver?). ), as well as the battery connector. The only flaw is the molded compartment into which the battery is glued. The RV 770 batteries have a smaller capacity (820mAh). To make this larger (1250mAh) battery fit, you'll need to snip away some thin plastic flaps (see photo). However, it is effective. Hopefully, the battery will last longer than the Garmin's three years.
The installation tools were supposed to be included in this package. The screwdriver that came with the Garmin Nüvi 765 was a small Phillips head screwdriver, but the Garmin Nüvi 765 requires a T4 bit. Fortunately, I had one in a laptop maintenance tool kit I had purchased. With the provided screwdriver, you would be unable to remove the screws and open the device. The "spudger" tools that were used to pry open the case were useful and pleasant to use. It was simple to install the battery, but you must supply your own double-sided tape. tape that is double-sided The battery appeared to be in good condition and was fully charged when I received it. This particular item piqued my interest because it claimed to include the necessary tools. It had tools, but they weren't always the right ones.
The WEIGHT of the battery is something I've learned to pay attention to. The amount of Lithium used in their production is determined by this. The better they perform, the greater the weight and percentage of that element. br>br>This item isn't very dependable or good at what it does.
This is the second battery I purchased from Amazon. After two years, the other UPStart battery died. I use the Nuvi on a regular basis while riding my motorcycle and driving my car. I put the date of purchase on it this time to get a more accurate picture of how long it has been in service.
My 2010 Nissan Exterra came with a detachable Garmin 750 GPS unit. The battery, however, had died, and while it still worked when plugged into the SUV's built-in holder, I couldn't use it for hiking. The only difficulty in replacing the OEM battery with this new one was that it was glued in place.
I can now fully charge my Garmin for the first time in over a year.
The battery is a little smaller than the original, but it fits into the case perfectly. The tools that come with the kit are too soft to use and quickly deform. My solution was to use a small knife blade.
