In my search for a replacement for my own short-lived battery, I came across the 10,000 mAh number, but the JBL data sheet lists the power as 37 wh, not 10000 mAh. Internal circuitry appears to be using 7. 4 volts. I divide 37 by 7 to get the mAh. 4) To get 5000 mAh, multiply by 1000. The claim of 10,000 is probably nothing more than marketing bluster.
Hello! Try again; the connection may have been lost, and charge the device for an extended period of time.
This battery is not compatible with the JBL xtreme 2, but it is compatible with the JBL xtreme.
It is not necessary to purchase an additional charger. It'll be fine if you just stick with the original.

I was confronted with the same issue and had no idea how to proceed. After doing some research online, I came across this little tidbit. This replacement is doable if you know how to remove screws with a screwdriver. Make certain you have some double-checked double-checked double-checked double Use double-sided tape or another adhesive to secure the battery so it doesn't jiggle around when reassembling! Being 5k mAh instead of 10k mAh as the OEM battery "supposedly" was, I'll admit that I'm concerned about battery life. I can not Before putting my tools away, I tested the JBL by turning it on. When the unit arrived at my house, all five white LED dots lit up, indicating that the battery had been nearly fully charged. My plan right now is to discharge the battery to 0% and then recharge it all the way to 100% (typical recommended procedure for new device battery) I've been using the device for over four hours now. Not only is the battery still alive, but it also has four LED dots that light up when it turns on. As a result, I am optimistic that this will last at least seven years. On a full charge, the battery will last 9 hours at a moderate volume. That's on par with the OEM on my Xtreme. br>br>Thank you, Mr. /Mrs. Sino! We have a happy customer here. In a heartbeat, I would purchase again.
Many JBL Xtreme owners are aware that the factory battery is of "Xtreme" low quality. (Excuse me if I'm making a joke. ) ) In fact, it should last you at least until the end of your warranty period, if not much longer. br>br>Recently, I've been having problems with the stock battery not holding a charge. (It continued to function normally while plugged into the wall outlet. ) ) After reading through the forums and discovering that many other customers were experiencing the same problem, I contacted JBL's customer service, hoping for some flexibility in the warranty given that this is a known issue. Unfortunately, there was no such luck. They could only offer me a 10% discount for their online store because I was about a year out of warranty and they could only offer me a 10% discount for their online Thank you, but that didn't help my situation at all. br>br>Finally, I bit the bullet and forked over $35 for the Cameron Sino replacement. On eBay, there are slightly cheaper options, but they are from lesser-known brands, and they ship from China, so buy at your own risk. br>br>Installation was not nearly as difficult as I had anticipated. Take your time, follow a YouTube tutorial, and keep track of your screws. It should only take about 30 minutes to complete. In general, I'm pleased. I can't say for sure how long this battery will last, but it appears to be of higher quality than the factory battery JBL chose to "save money" on.
It was simple to put together, but be careful not to break the black rubber goop that holds the shell together. The goop is a connection to the speaker's LEDs on the front. br>I've had this battery since January 2019, and it's now October 14, 2020, and it lasts about 10 minutes on a full 12 hour charge. The low battery warning does not appear, and the device simply shuts down. That could have happened as a result of breaking the black goop I mentioned earlier. br>For battery life, I gave it three stars because it lasted for over a year and a half. Overall, I was disappointed that it didn't last a little longer.
Because we don't use the JBL very often, the original battery only lasted a few months, which was a major disappointment. Despite the fact that the JBL runs on AC power, the battery is convenient. JBL should step up their game and stop using short-life batteries; however, this replacement was not too expensive, and hopefully it will outlast the original. So far, everything has gone according to plan.
Installation was a little difficult, but that is true of any battery you purchase. It took me about 20 minutes to complete the video. It was approximately 90% charged when installed and the battery life is approximately better than the factory battery when it was new! I expect it to last longer than the factory battery, which only lasted about a year before losing its charge. So far, I've been very impressed.
My jbl Xtreme's original battery ran out. With the help of a YouTube video, I was able to put this one together myself. It's been about 5 months now, and everything is still working perfectly! Unless I update this comment, you can assume it's still working. Cheers!.
At our 4th of July block party, we loved how the connector fit and how long the battery lasted. What I didn't like was that the connector plug didn't have a clip to keep it from coming unplugged, but who knows if that will be an issue in the future. However, it is highly recommended that you purchase it.
I bought this battery a year ago, and it used to last about 6 hours; however, after 10 months of use, the battery began to lose a significant amount of its running time, and the duration of each use has become shorter. After ten months, the battery lasts only about three and a half hours before it starts to drain. Before the ewarranty expired, I attempted to contact the seller but was unable to do so. Please contact me if the seller reads this review because I am extremely dissatisfied with this product.
