This is not a leather keychain. After three weeks of light use, the ring snapped in half. The ring was held in place by a ripped piece of cheap plastic. This "Air Tag Keychain for Apple Airtags Holder, 4 Pack Protective Leather Airtags Case Tracker Cover with Airtag Holder, Airtag Key Ring Compatible with Apple New AirTag Dog Collar (Multi-color)" is not something I would recommend to anyone. Because it isn't leather, it is prone to ripping.
I was a little concerned about losing them, so I bought two more for my wife. I was about to buy four apple key chains, but they were nearly as expensive as the air tags! br>br>I was concerned that purchasing a less expensive air tag key chain would result in the loss of the air tag, but I went ahead and purchased this much less expensive one anyway, and while they aren't $30, they are significantly less expensive. The air tags are held in place by the 00 leather key chains. I put in long hours at work. They've never come loose or fallen out of the key chain while I've had one in my pants pocket and the other in my backpack all day. These are a much less expensive alternative to Apple that I would recommend.
I only got these two weeks ago, but they're of far better quality than the price suggests. Loose threads, misaligned stiching, and low-quality rings and onglets were all on my list of expectations. Everything exceeded my expectations, and what I received was more in line with what I would expect to receive for $30 from Apple. br>br>When you push in on the metal ring that you use to attach this to your keyring, it has a little release that makes switching it from one keyring to another a breeze. When I have my keys in my hand, however, I fidget with the spring-loaded latch, and I would have expected to break it from so much use. Also, I had assumed that the chrome ring was just a finish for a rougher ring underneath, but the finish has proven to be either high quality or part of the metal. br>br>In the future, I'd definitely buy more products from this seller / manufacturer.
These will not fit Apple Airtags from September 2021. Sure, I can slide the Airtag in and close it. The Airtag, however, will not stay in the holder centered: The holder is a little too small for my liking. (The same Airtags work perfectly in Apple's Airtag keychain holders. ) My image is of a non-smoking person. If you want to show the monogramed side, which, due to the design, centers the best, things will center even worse (and it will be completely obvious how bad of a fit it is). br>br>Meanwhile, br>br>Here's what I think: These people should be avoided. They'll keep the Airtag, but only for a short period of time.
I like the concept of these, and the apple disc holder is secure. The rings, on the other hand, were not very durable. I was offered a refund and a replacement item by the seller, but I had already decided to try a different style.

The airtag is well held by this item. They haven't come undone for me yet. The level of customer service provided is excellent.
