On my 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with navigation, I used this. The navigation problem has been fixed.
The color of this one matches that of the factory installed one. The color of the shirt is not this beige color as I feared.
In fact, yes. These antennas were more effective than the original ones on my older vehicle.

It was the result of a small leak coming from my visor that led me to make this purchase. A navigation system and XM radio are integrated into my 2014 vehicle. wasn't in the mood to take it to the dealer for a claim on my extended warranty since it was out of Having to live without a truck for a week and being charged over $400 is a nightmare wholly unimaginable. Basic tools are required and can be used for this project. As you do this, you need to pull the A Pillar off from the dash and driver door, remove the handle and remove the visor(I think it's T10 driver head). There should be sufficient flex in the headliner that you can slightly bend it down so you can attach a 1/4 inch ratchet and 11mm socket to the nut holding it in place. By inserting a straight screwdriver with a narrow head that is of sufficient length into the top of the red plug connection at the top, the connector can be looseened. Pull the wire while lifting the tab. Since this GM design still has the slit to the back, I strongly recommend putting some silicone around the bottom side, then tighten until the crush sleeve I have attached a photo for your review.
It is a one size fits all OEM replacement that is a third of the price the dealer charges. Cars that have it mounted on the rear of the vehicle work great with this. On trucks and SUV's that mount it on the front with the nose sloping down, the weep hole on the back becomes a filler hole and must be sealed with sealant in order to prevent water from entering. With the old base, water would enter the electronics area and cause rust inside the aluminum part. I sealed the bottom of the aluminum part with silicone sealant.
It was fitted on a Chevy 2015 Tahoe with the upgraded model number for replacement of your shark fin antenna. I had no GPS connection until I changed the unit, which fixed my problem 100%. Using a video online as a guide for the repair, I was able to complete it without any.
Though it is disappointing that the original failed to hold up, this one replaced my damaged and leaking XM/GPS antenna in my 2002 Before installation, seal the silicone with a cloth.
Water filtered through a worn OEM part, resulting in its failure. A recall should be issued for this part for the.
I was just as satisfied as with the original factory equipment.
It is what it says it is. I was able to make the GPS work again on my Silverado 2014.
