Thanks for your help with getting my Yukon going again! In case anyone is interested, this antenna would not cause any problems for my truck

Despite this, the factory navigation system and compass did not function. I would be positioned in the middle of a field in a different state by the navigation. It took me some time to trace down the likely culprit (this antenna), but I finally replaced it. As soon as I turned on my GPS and compass again, everything was working as it should. Installation is pretty easy- the hard part is being meticulous about how to install the headliner and all the retaining clips for the A-pillars There is one. In general, this isn't an extremely difficult or even moderately difficult installation or swap. For the antenna mounting nut to be accessible, only a few pieces need to be removed.

You really can't go wrong with factory matched paint. I was able to install easily. This seems to be a job that would be better left to someone else. The seal has been updated, and the drain location has been altered.

Works well, looks exactly the same, and has the same rubber design as the old one. In case water does get in again, I think there may be better drainage.
