It was the big arms that I had originally purchased, but they came in a 12-inch size The wall is 14" off the ground! This is the stuff I got, and they turned out to be perfect. I lined them up nicely, but PRO TIP leave a little gap between them (1/2") to allow them to be angled. The mounts are put where everything lines up straight, but you have to overlap a bit to get the angle just right.
It was cheap and the instructions were included, making it a great buy. Moreover, they arrived within a short time. The weekend is almost over, so I just have to set it all up. I had a very cluttered desk due to working from home requirements. As the desk I am using is built into an alcove, the monitor stand will not fit because it has no place to clamp to it. Then there are two personal monitors that I also use at work, so I use three monitors in total. Our plan was to mount a board up on the wall instead of searching for studs. While I returned it, I would still rate this product a 5 star product for the right buyer. I was planning to mount it inside our RV bedroom and I would like it to hang on the wall. This looks like a very strong and sturdy TV. I bought two of them to mount my computer monitors to the wall and remove them from I am completely satisfied with their performance. As stated in the instructions, do not use the brackets with walls made only of drywall, but rather find a stud. Although that may be a good idea if you intend to use them to hang a television, I hung my TV with some really sturdy anchors without finding studs. Because these monitors weigh much less than a TV, they can be used with anchors with no problems. It is possible to swivel the monitor in any direction. I find this product to be very nice and very reasonably priced.
