If you need surge protection, don't buy this. It's been a week since I got it. My projector, cable modem, and the Hdmi switcher I recently purchased have all been damaged by the first storm. I'm sick of Amazon's garbage.
This Tessan 8 Outlet Surge Protector was almost ideal, with plenty of outlets evenly spaced to accommodate all of your devices. It has an on/off switch, which I like, but it doesn't light up, which is my only complaint. This strip was perfect for setting up a charging station. I placed a red sticker near the off switch's end and a green sticker near the on switch's end. It will be clear whether the strip is turned on or off in this manner. To save electricity, I like to turn the strip off when it's not in use.
So far, it's been exactly what I've been looking for. br>The strip is placed where I need it with the help of a long, heavy power cord. The plugs are well spaced, which is a plus, and there are three USB ports, which is also a plus. br>I intend to use it for some home entertainment and networking equipment. Usb plugs for things like firestick power, etc. br>The only thing I don't care about is something completely insignificant. The "Non- LED indicators that are extremely bright. " Unless you're looking straight at the strip, you won't be able to see them. However, I believe I am in the minority when it comes to liking various lights on my gear.
This is something I just returned. It feels hollow and not sturdy. I was able to plug it in without difficulty, but when I went to plug in my television, I had to use all of my strength to get it into the outlet. So I tried charging my phone with a different outlet on a surge protector, and the result was the same. It's crazy that this wasn't tested because it feels so dangerous. I couldn't ask my child to plug something in unless they were physically capable of doing so.
All three USB ports have stopped working after 6 months of use, possibly due to low voltage. br>br>1/31/21 Update When I contacted the manufacturer, they offered to send me a replacement right away. They did so, and I received it the day before yesterday. Color me ecstatic!.
This extension cord was extremely useful. We need this power strip for the lights, TV, and other electronics because it is the holiday season. The UBS outlets will also allow you to charge your phones. This is the PERFECT present for any occasion.
I was in desperate need of an outlet strip, and this one fit the bill perfectly. When I was dissatisfied with the store's selection, I went online and found this. I like how the plugs are arranged and that there are now USB ports. I use a variety of adapters to charge a variety of camera batteries and devices, so the wide spacing between plugs is ideal for me.
