I received an extension cord that was very cute, but it had a short in it. It used to work if you held it in a specific way, but it has now completely stopped working. I'd appreciate a replacement so that I could give this product a more favorable review.
Untrustworthy. Update: If you don't want your phone to die or for things to stop working while you're using it, don't use these. I made the mistake of buying three cords at once, so I tried a different one to see if it was a bad one. br>Nope, this one is also dead. br>br>I'm dissatisfied. My extension cord stopped working after three months, and it would occasionally start working again. I was late for work because my phone's alarm had gone off! I tested the same products on the outlet itself, and they worked perfectly; the worst part is that it starts working again, and you almost begin to trust it again, only for it to suddenly stop working. I was really hoping these would work because I bought three of them for my apartment and really liked the design.
It's a lot of material and bulky!.
It is, however, extremely thick in real life. The diameter is about 3/8 of an inch! (See photo)br>br>I live in an apartment that does not have any built-in ceiling lighting. As a result, in addition to wall-to-wall-to-wall-to-wall-to I also have to deal with lighting rooms solely by lamps, which is an extremely difficult design challenge in and of itself. This extension cord was purchased to extend from the wall to beneath my sofa. The plan is to provide outlets for console table/buffet lamps, as well as a phone charging cable, from beneath the sofa. To blend in with the carpet between the wall and the sofa, I purchased this subtly colored cable. br>br>However, it's so big that no matter how closely you match the cord's color to your flooring, it'll stand out like a sore thumb, necessitating clear clips to secure it to moldings and baseboards, as well as a rug on top. br>br>In my opinion, a traditional extension cord is preferable because it is much thinner and lies flat. (It's a round one. ) In my living room, I'll be switching to a taupe/beige traditional extension cord. This item is not worth the trouble of returning. I'll find a new home for it, perhaps in the bedroom or office, as it appears to be well-made. However, as a design solution, it is not feasible.
This device worked for about a week before abruptly ceasing to function. I wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy wasting your time with useless E-mails. If you want to waste your time, feel free to do so.
It's attractive, but it's not possible to connect certain circuits.
After six months of normal use, the outlet end cracked. The electrical conductors inside the device were exposed due to the cracked seam, making this device extremely dangerous. The crack appeared as a result of simply unplugging a device from the computer. This unit is unfit for normal use, whether due to a design flaw or a manufacturing flaw. It's also unclear how to get in touch with the company in order to file a warranty claim. This is disappointing because it was one of the few true tamper-resistant systems available. (Assuming it doesn't crack open, it's child-safe. ) I've found as many extension cords as I can.
